According to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171, During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the
right hand over the heart.

It should be swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose.
I like the song 'I'd Like to Teach the World to sing.' If that were our anthem, then I might salute it."
Sorry Barry, but that duck don't fly. Any Catholic who votes for you will be committing a mortal sin and anybody else who votes for you will get what they asked for...or at least what the current polls say they want.

Heaven help us all if this guy gets elected. The elderly will be next. He'll say "Don't fix those broken hips. They aren't working anymore, so why should the rest of society be penalized because they are old?"
I sincerely hope that each and every person spends some time in prayer prior to voting at the polls. Our very lives depend on this.

Thank you for this post-would that the firm message that Catholics who vote for him will be committing mortal sin would ring from the pulpits.
Twice yesterday I felt disgrace, when in two different venues (Joy Behar on the "View" and on CNN, Barbara Boxer (D-Ca, and supposedly a "Catholic") both stated that McCain was against "women's issues" because he was against Roe v. Wade. What a sad commentary when "women's issues" is synonymous with the murder of innocent babies.

Yes, we need to be afraid of him...be afraid, very very afraid. I cannot believe the amount of "Catholics" who would actually vote for the guy! It is amazing to me that any Catholic would even consider it....yes it would be a GRAVE SIN to vote for such a pro abortion Candidate. I'm not sure he would stop at abortion either, euthanasia would be considered as well. He is a very very dangerous man, IMHO.
