Help Needed To Restore Tabernacle

This is the original tabernacle from Our Lady Mother of Mercy Chapel. It was while Sr. Mildred was praying before this same tabernacle that she experienced the apparitions of Our Lady of America and was given the central messages by Our Blessed Mother for America to return to purity.

Now, we need your help to restore this beautiful and IMPORTANT relic for Our Lady of America.

After the Sisters of The Precious Blood sold the property in 1977, members of The Way International desecrated this tabernacle and attempted to destroy it by intentionally breaking the key in the lock and ripping away the interior. They also broke off the cross at the top. It was found stashed in the basement of the property filled with caustic cleaning supplies. Perhaps someone from The Way had felt this was a means of attacking Catholic believers?

Please help us with your tax-deductible contribution so we may restore this beautiful relic and honor Our Lord in the most fitting way possible.

That is such a sad sight. It breaks my heart that such an act of obvious ridicule would be made against Our Lord. I am reminded of His passion and His long walk to the Hill of Skulls before His crucifixion.

Although abused what a beautiful tabernacle it is. Maybe someone out there would like to make a contribution in honor or memory of their father for Father's Day??

How pleasing that would be to Our Lord and His Mother.

God bless each of you and especially our Father's this Sunday.

I would have to ask, if the tabernacle was so special why was it left behind when the property was sold? I would say some of the "blame" would have to lay with the individuals that sold the property.

I don't know what was going through the nun's heads when they sold the property. I do know there was some shady dealings going on between the fake buyer The Way sent in and "slick willie" Wierwille when the cult acquired the place in 1977.

In response to the last comment: that's a totally moronic conclusion. that's like suggesting a rape victim was asking to be raped because she was pretty.

Whoever did this worked hard to deface one of the most beloved Catholic relics known to any Church.
