D.C. Police to Check Drivers In Violence-Plagued Trinidad Neighborhood

This article was in the Washington Post today. The Trinidad neighborhood is just blocks away from the National Basilica to The Immaculate Conception. Be VERY careful if you are visiting this summer.

Maybe this is why Our Lady has asked that Her children come to Rome City?

Anyone traveling to visit the statue of OLA or to visit the National Shrine should exercise great caution. The neighborhoods are extremely dangerous. DO NOT walk anywhere alone.
