God Healed The Little Boy, by Greg Fean was written with the intention of helping children who face cancer. Greg was five years old when diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia in 2001. Greg is a survivor. After more than three years of chemotherapy, at the age of nine Greg wrote this book “so other children would know what happens and wouldn’t be afraid.” Readers (children and even adults) who are fighting the battle against cancer are sure to be both educated and comforted by the content of this beautifully written and colorfully illustrated book of hope. Surely, the faith of a child is something to behold!

Thank you for showing and sharing with us what Our Lord and His Mother have done to help this little boy, Greg.
I am anxiously awaiting my ordered copy of the book, so I too can share his story with others.
Our church in Chicago would like to start an Our Lady of AMERICA Apostalate any suggestions
First download ALL of the messages and materials at www.ourladyofamerica.com and make copies available for your group or have them go directly to the website to print their own info.
Then, order medals and prayer cards. Prayer cards are free from www.ourladyofamerica.com...they may cost you if you order from ave-ourladyofamerica.com, I don't know for certain. I have only ordered from the origianl site before.
Then, get a spiritual priest (one who is open to belief) to work with you and start a prayer group and do what they do at Rome City by praying the prayer to the Immaculate Conception followed by a FULL rosary on a regular basis. If you can get your priest to expose the Eucharist for Adoration and hear confessions while your group recites the rosary, all the better. I guarantee you will see people going to confession who have not gone in ages.
Then, become as informed as possible----get ALL the facts you can---and share with your group.
It is also very beautiful to include as many families and children in this devotion. Make sure the kids know that THEY are the key (I think the parents really are, but, hey, take what you can get).
Then, organize a pilgrimage to Rome City and make it an overnite thing if you can. I guarantee you will have the best night's sleep you've had in ages. The people at Sylvan Springs will help take care of everything. It was one of the most awesome experiences of my own spiritual quest when I stayed with my husband last summer. I am from Rockford, IL and it took about 4 hours to drive there. I cannot wait to go back.
That is what i would do.
when will there be exciting news regarding Our Lady of America? Why so silent??????

Funny how the Fostoria supporters so freely use this blog to sew their seeds without ANY mention of the true birthplace of this movement of OLA.
Shows who has character and who is still learning.

To one of the many Anons, please remember Christian Charity in all things-- even blog posting. You do a great disservice to all by being uncharitable.
Lacking Christian Charity in communication is a strong sign that one is very distant from Our Lord and His Blessed Mother.
In all things, clarity and charity. Is it really neccessary to speak ill of others in any way?

I agree with Luke. Let's not forget Our Lady's requests to return to purity, to spread this devotion and pray for the Bishops to enthrone the statue in D.C. Which website is official is old news-since December 30 of LAST year.
I can only attest to the fact that Rome City is a wondrous place! Without experiencing the palpable peaceful, grace filled chapels, and Holy Ground, people are missing SO much. I felt "called" there from some of the miraculous photos (and their meaning to me). Had I not gone there, I would have missed so many spiritual and physical miracles. And even on my return home, others noticed the difference!
I pray for Larry and Lynn and all those involved daily who are sacrificing so much to preserve these grounds for Her children. I pray that I can bring Our Lady more of Her children to witness this Sacred Ground.
May God Bless Us and Mary Keep Us!
