Medjugorje Message to Mirjana - 2nd December 2007
Our Lady was very sad. Her eyes were filled with tears through out the whole time.
"Dear children,Today, while I am looking at your hearts, my heart is filled with pain and shudder. My children, stop for a moment and look in to your hearts. Is my Son – your God truly in the first place? Are His commandments truly the measure of your life? I am warning you again. Without faith there is no God’s nearness. God’s word which is the light of salvation and the light of common sense".
Mirjana added: I asked Our Lady painfully not to leave us and not to give up on us. Our Lady painfully smiled to my request and left. This time she did not finish her message with the words "Thank you". Our Lady blessed all of us and all religious articles we had with us.
Just a few days before this "alleged" message (we must be careful because these are not "approved") was given to Mirjana, we received these two photos taken by a regular contributor to this blog who had visited Sylvan Springs earlier this Fall with her husband. These photos are of the statue which stands in the exact location where the Our Lady of America apparitions took place in 1956.

The look on the face of this statue, which was rebuilt according to the description given the artist by Larry in 2001, seems to be right in line with the description Mirjana is describing Our Lady's present condition to be. Is this a coincidence or is it a confirmation that Our Lady is fatigued by the lack of positive response to Her continued attempts to warn us?
Thanks to KRIS for her timely contribution.

Providential - when I read the Medjugorje message a couple of days ago, I thought about this exact statue at the Springs because of the way Mirjana described our Heavenly Mother's sad and painful look.
When I was at the Springs in August I too took several photo's of the Blessed Mother's statue, and commented at the time to Nick and my friends how incredibly sorrowful she looked. I even walked up to the statue as it appeared to me like she was crying.
Thanks Kris for sharing your photo's and to Larry for bringing this message out tonight, it strikes home for alot of us.
Yes, the Blessed Mother is getting tired of begging us to change, to turn our hearts and souls over to her Son and to love Him unconditionally. We all need to continue our prays for the salvation of souls.
The Blessed Mother must know that God's hand is getting very heavy, and it won't be long before it falls upon all humanity for the sins of many.
God bless each of you,

You can almost feel her eyes welling up with emotion when you stand in front of this statue.
I understand the Pope has offered plenary indulgences for going to Lourdes this year. I guess that's good for those with money to travel. I'll take my chances with another trip or two to Rome City and visit Our lady of America who first came as Our lady of Lourdes.
This statue has been telling us how she is feeling for many years now. This is all connected and any fools who wish to deny this are not open to the living Holy Spirit.
As jstolle commented, "The Blessed Mother must know that God's hand is getting very heavy, and it won't be long before it falls upon all humanity for the sins of many."
The pictures of the statue are certainly timely and poignant. This month's Medjugorge message seemed as urgent as the December '04 message, right before the tsunami.
May God Bless Us and Mary Keep Us,

Hi everyone! Happy Advent!
If I might add something about these pictures I took of this statue during our visit....I took several pictures for the very same reasons given by the other comments here - the very sad expression, almost pleading for help. Yet, all pictures were very similar to the second image shown here graciously by our friends at OLTIV. Perhaps it's just my imagination, but the first image, the one on top, looked very different to me from the others. She seemed to take on an even more human appearance - as if, how shall I put it, there was more of Her!!!
Click on both images for a closer look and see if the top image doesn't appear with an even more sweeter sadness of a human mother.
Just my own feelings after looking at all of the photos. For your discernment of course.
I noticed the same thing in photos I took during my visit this summer. When I saw these photos from KRIS, I had to go dig up my own photos and compare.
All of my friends I show these photos to say the same thing. They all think there is such a human emotion pouring out of Her.
Even though I have not been there in many months, not a single Mass goes by when I do not think of how "close" I felt to the Holy Spirit when I stood before that statue in Rome City. I hope someone is able to help continue this God-inspired work.
My album of pictures remains on top of my table for all to see the beautiful views of the hill, the Chapels, the images in the clouds I received and the gorgeous grounds.
I agree Kris, the first image is so real, as if she is about to step down and start walking among the people, crying and begging. I could hardly breathe in the Chapel, as if she was ready to speak to me and my friends that awesome day.
Out of the 10 pictures I took of her, almost all, even from the different angles taken, resembles the first image shown here.
That is why I felt like her eyes were welled up and the tears were fixing to spill over.
Did you get to view the Blue Weeping Room?
My impression or what came to me upon entering this room was that this is the Blessed Mother's room, her personal room at the Springs. The blue walls represents her blue sash and mantle, the oil on the walls, her tears flowing down for all humanity.
The oil or whatever substance it is, was very visible on Aug. 8th, it was wet when touched. I felt such reverence and an overwhelming peacefulness in this room, that I could only whisper in there.
My heart is hurting to think someone might receive this precious gift of a place, and not use it for the faithful, "Her Children". I plead with Our Lady daily, to send her servant to help and preserve this Holy Ground or to help Larry and his family to be able to keep the Springs and continue doing her majestic work.
Our Lady of America, deliver us from evil. Help us, please!

I can see it. She looks like she is ready to look right down at you and smile.
I have quite a collection of Marian statuary and I have NEVER seen anything with this much pure sincerity radiating in Her face.
What a beautiful place for Her to be.
Since we are mentioning here the latest rather alarming message (in the description of Mary's countenance) to Mirjana, I find it also interesting that Medjugorje has both the image of Our Lady of Medjugorje but also the image made (and perhaps even more familiar) popular through Fr. Jozo of Our Lady of Grace. You see that one everywhere that Medjugorje is mentioned. That connection seems pretty providential. This kinda parallels here with the traveling statue of the OLOA image but also there is the providential connection with Our Lady of Lourdes and this statue!
Happy Feast of The Immaculate Conception Everybody!
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your pictures. The second one is the reason I am writing. Our Lady appeared to me in almost the exact form and expression as your picture.
She said, "Pray for the souls in Purgatory, for I am in need of many." She appeared so sorrowful and her voice was tired. She needed our prayers for others that can't pray for themselves.
I have prayed St. Gertrude's Chaplet for nearly two years now for it is said that 50,000 souls will be released each time it is recited. Please help Our Blessed Mother.
Pray, Repent, follow the teachings of Her Son, Jesus Christ and lead others to Him.
