September Special Events
September is a big anniversary month for Our Lady of America and the first 4 central apparitions and accompanying messages that were received by Sr. Mildred Ephrem Neuzil in the Our Lady Mother of Mercy Chapel at Sylvan Springs in Rome City, Indiana.
As part of our celebration activities, we will be making a special effort to involve special speakers for our Friday Night Rosaries and extend the chapel hours to accommodate devotional visitors on the following anniversary dates. All are welcome. "Bring me my children."
Friday, September 14
Mass and Rosary with Benediction and Reconciliation
Internationally-known Ferdinand Roccanti will offer a number of his devotional paintings for exhibit and purchase. You will be amazed at the quality of his works...especially from a man who had no prior artistic experience until Jesus told him to buy art supplies. Ferdinand said "But Lord, I don't have any talent for painting." Jesus replied "I do!"
Ferdinand and his wife Barbara have shared their motivational stories with hundreds of audiences over the years and they will be on hand to meet and greet with our Friday prayer group. You will always remember this couple's beautiful response to Our Lady's call.

51st Anniversary of the first apparition of Our Lady of Lourdes in the Our Lady Mother of Mercy Chapel reported by Sr. Mildred Ephrem Neuzil. Chapel will be open from 9am-9pm.
Sometime between 7-8 pm Our Lady said:
"I am pleased, my child, with the love and honor my children in America give to me, especially through my glorious and unique privilege of the Immaculate Conception. I promise to reward their love by working through the power of my Son's Heart and my Immaculate Heart miracles of grace among them. I do not promise miracles of the body, but of the soul."
Our Lady emphasized this very much. She is anxiously concerned about our inner life. She continued: "For it is mainly through these miracles of grace that the Holy Trinity is glorified among men and nations. Let America continue and grow in its love for me, and I in return, in union with the Heart of my Son, promise to work wonders in her. My child, I desire that this be known."

51st Anniversary of the first apparition of Our Lady of America in the Our Lady Mother of Mercy Chapel reported by Sr. Mildred Ephrem Neuzil. Chapel will be open from 9am-9pm
Immediately after morning Mass concluded, Our Lady appeared for the first time as Our Lady of America with these words:
"I am Our Lady of America. I desire that my children honor me, especially by the purity of their lives."
Between 4-5pm that same day, Our Lady of America appears again:
"My child, I entrust you with this message that you must make known to my children in America. I wish it to be the country dedicated to my purity. The wonders I will work will be the wonders of the Soul. They must have faith and believe firmly in my love for them. I desire that they be the children of my Pure Heart. I desire, through my children of America, to further the cause of faith and purity among peoples and nations. Let them come to me with confidence and simplicity, and I, their Mother, will teach them to become pure like to my Heart that their own hearts may be more pleasing to the Heart of my Son."

Our Lady of America appears again. Chapel open from 9am-9pm
"Our Lady again appeared to me while I was at prayer. She held the world in her hands. From her eyes tears were flowing upon it, as though she longed to cleanse it from its guilt.
It was then that I heard these words filled with sorrow and longing:
"Behold, O my children, the tears of your Mother! Shall I weep in vain? Assuage the sorrow of my Heart over the ingratitude of sinful men by the love and chasteness of your lives. Will you do this for me, beloved children, or will you allow your Mother to weep in vain? I come to you, O children of America, as a last resort. I plead with you to listen to my voice. Cleanse your souls in the Precious Blood of My Son. Live in His Heart, and take me in that I may teach you to live in great purity of heart which is so pleasing to God. Be my army of chaste soldiers, ready to fight to the death to preserve the purity of your souls. I am the Immaculate One, Patroness of your land. Be my faithful children as I have been your faithful Mother.
"These are my words, O my daughter. Make them known to my children.
"I desire to make the whole of America my shrine by making every heart accessible to the love of my Son."

I hope that as many people as possible can make it to hear Ferdinand Roccanti. His life story is incredible and he speaks in such an easy, childlike way as he is a wonderful example of a true child of Mary. His wife, Barbara, has been his true help mate in all that he does. We have had the blessing of having him here in the Philadelphia area. His paintings are truly remarkable (even legally blind while painting them) - many miracles have come through them. My friend at my weekly parish Eucharistic Adoration collects prayers for Ferdinand each week to give to Ferdinand to give to all those to whom he speaks in front of (he can't say enough all by himself for the hundreds he needs!) His tapes too are good to listen to for inspiration in trying times. Go to hear this true lover of Jesus and Mary.

That conference in Greenwood is not more than 20 minutes to 1/2 hr. outside of downtown Indianapolis. (Many Indy people consider Greenwood to be part of Indy, but don't tell that to Greenwood people! :-)
Our Lady the Reedemer is in Bloomington, Indiana, as Gloria mentions. That is an hour to an hour and a half South of Indianapolis proper.
For those interested in going, Greenwood is much closer than Bloomington, and is right off of 465 which goes around the city.

Have you checked out the wonderful pictures of the 9/11 event in NY/NJ yet? Reading about the reception and honor OLOA received gave me chills. This is all so wonderful.

Also learned that she will be visiting a parish next weekend that isn't too far from us - in Trenton, NJ's diocese. So, hopefully, off we'll go to receive her blessing.
Hopefully, the pictures and their explanations above will hearten our little fearful anonymous friend.
This is all very good, but was there any local media coverage of any of this? I didn't see anything on any of the network feeds throughout the day.
Having her children come out into the streets, singing her praises, is what it is all about, Bring me my children! And the children came, how wonderful.
Word of mouth will carry forward her wishes, I know it is hard to do at times, but we need to be patient, and keep praying. It will all come together just as she wishes it to.
The photo's were beautiful, and really touched my heart to see those strong men carrying her statue in New York. Her statue being in the fire truck which carried her sons that have died, it was her embracement of them to her Immaculate Heart!
God bless all those involved in bringing her to the peoples, and also for sharing her messages to the throngs.

When you really think about it what tv or news media covers anything about religion unless it's negative. There is way more intrest in that. And what news person wants to be looked at like he or she is a lunatic because they are talking about religion in a positive way. Remember religion has no place in politics or now the news media either unless it is negative (so it seems). It's ok with her to be paraded around the streets of New York. It's taken a long time for her children to get us in the fix were in and she's counting on the rest of us to get us out even it is by spreading the word by mouth.
I agree with J. Stolle. This is exactly the way Our Blessed Mother would want it to be done. She is watching us each one by one come to Her aid and to the Love of Her Son!
We have come a long way guys, let's give praise!!!
