Miraculous Image Repeatedly Occurs Outside Chapel During Adoration

The following images were captured several weeks apart with different 35 mm cameras. The one thing they all have in common, besides the images themselves, is that they were all taken after the Friday Night Rosary had just ended and before Benediction began.

Notice the image in the tree is always facing the Our Lady Mother of Mercy Chapel doors while another image is set just above the entry in front of the cross.

The pictures and the images are just too beautiful and serene for words. I pray that everyone that either sees the pictures on this post, or goes to this wonderful place in person, leaves with the same feeling of peace, purity and love the Blessed Mother is desperately trying to instill in each of us before time runs out.

To the Moderator: Will the Prayer meetings continue throughout the year?

The Friday Night Prayer Group will continue as long as ownership and the weather allow.

The property is still for sale and OLTIV is still seeking the adequate funding to acquire the property.

These photos are extraordinary! The Holy Spirit is there with Our Lady.

I'm not surprised you rarely hear about Rome City when the apparitions are talked about. All of the media coverage is being promoted by people who have no interest in the truth of the events at Rome City because they do not control it. They do control copyrights and trademarks. What's up with that? I;ve never seen any copyrights with Our Lady of Lourdes.

Sylvan Springs and our Lady of America have done wonders for my family. It has such a centering nature to it, we have all falen in love with the way we feel when we are there. We go to the prayers and Mass every Friday we can.

Please pardon my ignorance here, but below is the great article from lifesite which we should be grateful for because it is a much visited website with wonderful pro life articles.

http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2007/aug/07081309.html

I read the article and I don't see where there are facts in it that are so wrong. In fact it only mentions Rome City - and not Fostoria (where the final appearances happened) at all. And they give the reference for interested people to go to read the entire history.

Also, once again, we have to remember that the first steps in getting Our Lady's requests fully answered is through the bishops' action. This cannot be put off or sidestepped and there should not be any ill remarks that cause division in this movement. One place over the other. There are wonderful sacrificing people working for fulfillment in both places who each have their particular mission as a child of Mary. It is all connected in God's own plan and Holy Will.

I personally see more movement now, through the Holy Spirit, than ever before - all around and in all connected places.

We should even probably give thanks that we have a certain "nemesis" in the comments. Every true place of Mary is always accompanied in some way by the influence of Her nemesis whose head She is to crush, finally. But it is sad that one would allow such negativity towards the recognized good fruits of confession, rosary, adoration, holy mass, healings, etc. to be worked through her/himself. So prayers should go forward for el trollo!

So, we praise Jesus for sending His mother to us and for permitting whatever good publicity the world is now receiving to help us all in these end times, esp. for America.

I agree with your statements KRIS but that posting on LifeSite was changed from what it was originally this early this morning after I contacted the website and notified them of the factual miscue. Originally, it only mentioned Ohio and nothing of the Rome City connection. This is part of the beauty of the internet.

We're all on the same page...except for that anonymous antagonist...which I agree is good too. Without adversity, how would you know if you were making progress?

Kris,

You keep repeating as I have kept repeating regarding the bishops. Our Lady gave a message in the last year, and it was "Gather Together My Bishops." It was said simply and directively. I am sorry to keep repeating myself, but until we have all done that in any way we know, I must continue Our Lady's cry, for it was given to me.

What does it exactly mean? I can't be sure, but I think it is for all of us to pray and follow individually what we feel we need to do to do in Gathering together Her Bishops in this country! (My spiritual director totally agrees with me.) I believe, that Our Lady needs Her bishops of one mind thought. How to do that is the reason for individual prayer, meditation and listening to what the Holy Spirit tells each of us.

Please, She needs ALL of Her children to carry this out in the way they are told through prayer. The Holy Spirit will guide us all, if we pray and believe!
Time is running short, as we all know.

Please all, pray to know what your part is in doing Our Lady's work regarding this request. The key is and always has been the Bishops. Our Lady has made this clear! I feel strongly since Her request, that we must all pray and ask what we each need to do to realize Her wishes regarding this.

Peace and Purity of Love,
T.W.

ATTENTION***ATTENTION***ATTENTION

As announced at last Friday's rosary, there will be a rosary tonight, Wednesday, August 15, in the main chapel beginning at 7:00pm. All are invited to attend!

There will also be a rosary this Friday beginning at 6:30pm. Due to scheduling conflicts, the priest who had been scheduled is not able to celebrate the Mass on Friday. If you know of a priest who is available, have them contact OLTIV immediately at 260-854-3525 or email info@oltiv.org.

If your priest is headed to the Eucharistic Conference on Saturday, he can stay over, at no charge, on Friday night and be a 1 hour drive away from the conference.

If no priest is able to be scheduled for Mass, we will substitute an inspirational lecture on the Eucharist by Irv Kloska at 6:30pm.

When I arrived at last night's rosary, I was a little disappointed that no Mass was going to be said due to priest's scheduling of todays' eucharistic conference in south bend. However, once Irv began speaking on the eucharist, I was hanging on every word. He made me think of things I had never considered before during Adoration. Thanks to his moving and passionate lecture, I will forever be changed when I go to Mass. I wish I had his lecture on tape so I could share it with my children who I pray will come back to Jesus and the Church.

I am so thankful for the many graces I receive every time I visit this Holy place in Rome City. I know that someday soon, all the world will come to know of the unique nature of Our lady's presence here. I will pray for the Bishops to act expediently and for all of the wonderful people involved...those in Rome City...Ohio...St.Louis...wherever!

If you have considered making the visit, do it! All of the wonderful spiritual feelings you feel at Lourdes or Medjugorje are here and waiting for you. I could talk about the beautiful sunsets (spinning) or the mystical events I have personally experienced, but that would lead you in a direction that you should only experience for yourself because you may have a totally different experience.

God Bless us all and our Bishops!

My husband and I had an incredible visit last month. We had been advised to visit Rome City where Our Lady of America started and pray for help with my husband's asthma illness. It had become so bad, he has been unable to work for fear of setting off an a life-threatening attack.

We arrived later in the afternoon and slowly made our way to the hill. With all of the pine trees, I thought he would have a reaction for sure but he was fine.

After praying a rosary, we looked at each other and said "Do you notice all the butterflies?" They were all around us and we were just amazed. As we walked back to the car, we stopped at the waterfall and washed in the water and drank the crystal clear water. My husband said "Look at the sun!" When I looked, at first it was too bright. Then, I could see what appeared to be a communion host covering the sun and rays of beautiful red and gold and blue light coming off of it. The whole area seemed to be bathed in this light while the sun seemed to go round and round and "wobble" in place. I guess this is the miracle of the sun. Am I right?

Anyway, my husband's asthma has been much better these past weeks. He has returned to work and is feeling much more confident. I have stopped worrying too! This has been a God-send for both of us.

Is this a physical healing or a spiritual healing or neither? We are not Catholic, but we are trying to understand what it is that took place with us there. Whatever it was, it was very Holy and good.

Thank you to the owners for keeping the place so nice and open for us folk who need it so much. I would like to return and see the inside of the buildings and the old church some weekend. Is this possible?

Dear AB-

I agree with your letter. The talk on the Eucharist was compelling to say the least. I wa terribly humbled by it and had one of the most moving rosary experiences right after it.

Anyone reading this should be considering a trip to Rome City for themselves. I have been to Lourdes, Fatima, Medjugorje, Maranatha, etc... and the same feelings I experienced a all of those places is waiting for you in Rome City, IN.

I am fortunate to only live 4 hours away and have family nearby that I can stay with when I visit and they have been seeing a lot of me this summer.

To Julia-

Yes, that would be the miracle of the sun you and your husband witnessed. As far as miracles of the body or soul that took place, that is up to you to decide. I am very happy for you both and will pray for you.

You are not the first non-Catholic couple to pray the rosary. Is this a regular part of your life? If so, it is very good that you keep it up and help spread this practice in your circle of friends and family.

I heard about Our LAdy of America for the first time yesterday at The Eucharistic Conference at Notre Dame. What a marvelous event this is!

We need to notify everyone we know so they too can come to know of the GOOD NEWS that is right here in our midst. I cannot wait until the Friday rosary. I understand Tom Didier will be lending his beautiful voice to the Mass and rosary again this week. This is very inspiring!!

Could you tell us just what was said about Our Lady of America at the Eucharistic Congress? I mean that's great!

There was a link to another blog of someone who visited the statue in St. Louis, now in the Old Cathedral there - on SpiritDaily.com today.

It didn't appear that too many people were that familiar as yet there with the entire history, but it was good that more blogs are mentioning OLOA. When I tried to offer more info with mostly links given as well on Fostoria site and mentioned happenings here in Rome City I noticed it got deleted! Oh well, patience! Rocco mentioned Rome City and his comment has remained - short and sweet, not like mine!!

Anyway, the mention at Notre Dame is very good.

Kris,

I heard some people talking about Our Lady of America while standing in line for lunch of all places. These were people who seemed very excited to be sharing what they knew and i was shocked to learn it all happened within an hour of the town I grew up in.

I received a prayer card from one of the young men and then later on, while reading the prayer before an afternoon lecture, somebody else mentioned they knew of Our Lady of America and that they were planning to take their family to the Mass and rosary next Friday. Where have I been? Why isn't this a bigger media event?

I am devouring all of the articles on this website. It is incredible the amount of information and commentary that is here.

Julia,

I'm delighted to hear about your positive experience.

What you described is indeed a part of the "Miracle of the Sun." Sometimes it moves around in the sky too!

As for the healing, let your doctor be the judge of that. I'd encourage you to come back this Friday for mass & rosary, and hat with folks about what happened. Prayer is a great way to discern things!

The greatest miracles are not the healings, but the miracles of the heart.

God Bless,

I agree with Luke. When more people vote with their feet by pounding the hill and attending these very inspiring Friday Masses and rosaries, the media coverage will not be far behind. The main thing is to concentrate on informing all of those you know of this devotion and its role in forming stronger families and children. Once these things begin to manifest in our lives, the Bishops will need to formally recognize the power of this devotion and its significance in the lives of the US Faithful. Then it will be finally enthroned in the National Basilica which was saved by the same man, Archbishop John Noll, who helped start Sylvan Springs in 1895 and got the Precious Blood to take it over in 1902. The connection is clear to me.

These recent comments about gathering more people for the Mass and rosary intrigue me because I feel I have been called to assemble 10,000 for Our Lady of America on the anniversary of Her messages on September 25 & 26.

I am wondering if this assembly should be in Rome City?!

Can someone please respond:

Could the Rome City site hold 10,000 people? Is it large enough for that many to pray together?

Would the owners be receptive to such an event?

Is anyone else interested in working to organize a special pilgrimage?

The property could handle 100,000+ if properly equipped with porta-johns and concessions.

The owners would be receptive to such an event if the supporting sponsorships could be arranged.

We would be happy to work with you and anyone else in such a tribute. It will be a good warm-up for what will be coming in the future ;>)

Our family visited the old Basilica in St. Louis today and we took photos with the ebautiful statue of Our Lady of America.

We plan to be in Rome City on Friday as we make our way back to Maine. We are looking forward to the rosary and pounding the hill with our feet to vote for the confirmation of Our Lady of America by the US Bishops. The kids are more excited than we are (at least that's what THEY think).

I am praying for good weather on Friday in Rome City.

I'm SO excited that the statue is headed back East! From NYC to DC is just a stone's throw away from enthronement -(Bishops willing)!
Mary's presence is already seen and felt at Rome City. WE have to pound the hill, but the statue needs to be enthroned as Our Lady requested. Ask the bishops to enthrone her as Our Lady of America - the Immaculate Virgin - at the National Shrine of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. permanently!!! Hopefully at this rate Her statue could be enthroned by Sept. 12th! Perhaps by the eve of Sept. 25th, the anniversary of Our Lady's 1st apparition in Rome City, to Sr. Mildred in 1956!
For Peace, protection and purity!
