"Bring me my children. Bring me all of my children!"

These photos were all taken on Thursday, July 5, 2007 while standing in front of Sylvan Springs at approximately 2:00 pm. There had been a major effort all morning to schedule a priest for the Friday evening rosary because we wanted to begin celebrating Mass, Adoration, and Reconciliation as part of the rosary gathering on account of the growing numbers of those in attendance.

Just a few minutes before these photos were taken, we had just been informed that a visiting priest had changed his mind, SUDDENLY, and had agreed to come by and offer the sacraments we had requested. At first, he had said "No" to our request, but just as the words were leaving his mouth, he says he heard a woman's voice speak to him saying "Many blessings will be given to the United States, in particular, but not until abortion is ended and gay marriages are stopped!" With that, he abruptly changed his mind and emphatically stated that he would be there to celebrate the Mass, hear confessions, and offer Benediction for those who would come. He did not think many would come out on a Friday during the Fourth of July weekend. Boy, was he wrong!

Anyway, once we were given the news that this priest had changed his mind, we noticed the nature of the sun begin to change overhead and it began pulsing and spinning. This is what we saw.

First there was one bright and distinct image which took its place directly below the sun. It was soon joined by another image which began circling the entirety of the sun before coming straight down and taking up a position above the doorway to the chapel while the first image disappeared for a bit but reappeared in the tree as it usually does facing the chapel entrance. The whole event was quite dramatic and without question, not an optical lens effect of any kind.

It is human nature to say that this is all preposterous. But it is God's nature to bless us with these signs that we may believe and respond to His call to come together and pray.

Beautiful pictures and a wonderful outcome of the priest hearing the woman's voice, changing his mind and then coming to celebrate the Holy Mass, Benediction and to hear confessions. Thank you Jesus, that the priest responded to her call and was an obedient son.

Our Lady is urgently pleading and sending messages in all shapes and forms to get her children back to her and her Son before the Lord releases his hand on us. She has stayed his hand for a long time, but time is running short!

During my August 8th trip to this Holy Place, I had such a reawakening of spirit, that I still feel like I am bouncing in the clouds.

I in particular feel that Our Lady is calling all of us to pray for and end to abortion and especially for conversion of peoples to return to her Son.

May God's peace settle on each of you whether you are able to come to Rome City to see and experience for yourself, or if you are with all the individuals that are promoting Our Lady's cause in prayer.

The Rome City property is Holy Ground!! Period!!!

I was told to go there to seek help with continued nausea symptoms and problems with balancing. My problem was so severe, I could no longer safely drive and it was shutting my life down.

A friend and I made the trip and prayed on the grounds for a few hours one sunny afternoon about three weeks ago (Tuesday). We filled some bottles with the water from the well/fountain and I washed myself all over with it. My sense of balance was immediately restored and I have not had any type of nausea since.

We found the owner, Larry, and told him of our experience and asked what, if anything, we should do. He told us to go in front of the tabernacle and thank Jesus for this healing and wait a few days to make sure it wasn't just euphoria or something trying to mask as a cure. It sounded SENSIBLE but I knew I was CURED!

I did as he suggested and I even went to confession and told my pastor. He said he thought it was worth waiting through a period of discernment before coming to any conclusions.

Well, after visiting my doctor yesterday, she determined I could lay off the medications I had been prescribed (even though I already stopped taking them two weeks ago) and I should consider myself CURED!!

That was all the confirmation I needed to feel free to comment here.

Pray for the Bishops, especially the ones promoting OLOA and the one from Fort Wayne, IN who has Rome City in his diocese. Tell everyone you know about OLOA and by all means, make a pilgrimage to Rome City and pray to Our Lady for intercession to bring our country back to purity!!!

I can see this place being everything Our Lady has desired. All of the wonderful feelings I experienced at Medjugorje and Lourdes immediately came back to me when I visited last week. All that is missing is the priests and bishops.

I will be returning soon with more people. Thank you for being so helpful to us when we visited. The tour was lovely and well-done.

My heart is heavy after reading this post, a blemish on something Holy.
Slyvan Springs has come to be by the power of Our Lady. Why would you tarnish it with polictical rhetoric?
"Bring me my children. Bring me all of my children!" She said. That I believe. It doesn't matter if they are gay and think they should be married; it doesn't matter if they have had or think abortion is ok. The doubters, those who have fallen away, the prodigal son who returns those are the people who need miracles.
How do you expect those people to read or believe this honor Mary has bestowed on Slyvan Springs when you let a (man/priest) say he heard those words presumed from our Virgin Mother. What nonsense! What matters is a place for people to believe and come closer to God! God will be the defining factor on judgement for ALL. To post this on the website only brings those who already believe. Are we not looking to bring all people to God; to Our Lord Jesus and his most Holy Mother Mary.
Such miraculous pictures, where is the validation of that priest who says he heard a voice. Why would you take that at his word? Because you wanted to believe that? Because it is what you believe?
FAITH and TRUTH and BELIEF
A Polictical Agenda (right or wrong) doesn't belong here!
I will give the benefit of the doubt to the possibility that you did not realize how those words sounded.

Anon,

With all possible Christian charity, I would like to take up the objections appearing in your post. Please consider my words with the same respect I have considered yours (especially since these can be touchy subjects). I believe this is a teaching moment.

The teaching of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church is very clear on the matters of abortion and homosexual activity-- those activities are wrong, and it is good and charitable to correct the sinner. You do an alcoholic a disservice when you give him alcohol, and you do a sinner a disservice when you encourage sin.

You used the words FAITH, TRUTH and BELIEF. It is the Faith of the Church that these things are wrong, it is the Belief of the Church that the Holy Spirit has guided that Faith. These things are True not because the Church believes them, but rather, the Church believes them because they are True.

My friend, if you disagree with the Church on matters as serious as abortion and homosexuality, then you should seriously ask yourself-- are you Catholic in anything other than name? What type of spirit leads you to oppose the teaching of the Church?

What we discuss here is not political rhetoric, but what the Church has always taught, currently teaches, and will always teach. The teachings on abortion and homosexuality can not and will not ever change. It is as impossible as a triangle with four sides, or a round square. By definition, it can not change.

Built into this is, of course, love. Women who have an abortion are to be embraced and loved with all our hearts, just as Christ loves them. Those who are active homosexuals are to be embraced and loved with all our hearts, just as Christ loves them.

The Church possesses the truth, and proclaiming the truth and being authentically Christian and Catholic is what will call the fallen away sheep home. Jesus did not lie about his teachings to attract followers, instead he proclaimed the truth and sometimes people left because of it (John 6:66). But these days, he has a few more than the 12. We work on God's Timeline, not ours. So it was with the Eucharist, so it is with abortion and homosexuality. But no matter the situation, we never stop loving.

To charitably correct the sinner, to proclaim truth in humility, to call others to conversion, is an act of love. To lie to them about the truth only damages them.

Coming closer to God means repenting of sin and following his Son. We do not judge people, we judge actions. People are to be loved, evil actions are to be condemned. Love the sinner, hate the sin. We love women who have suffered abortion (they are the 2nd victim), and we love active homosexuals. But we can not, nor can the Church, nor does God, condone their action in any way, shape or form. It is morally wrong, and it is destroying them. That is why it is an act of love to correct the sinner, since it is tantamount to participating in their salvation.

My friend, it sounds like you are proposing lying about the truth. I only know one spirit that wants people to lie about the truth, and it is not holy. Please, for the sake of your faith and soul, consider whose banner you are following.

Anon, I will give you the benefit of the doubt to the possibility that you do not realize how much the thinking of an anti-Catholic Culture of Death has ensnared your mind and (I pray it is otherwise) possibly your soul. May God help you.

I remain, entirely yours in Christ Jesus,
-Luke Bruner

P.S. Consider this: Abortion has killed 50 million unborn babies in America since 1972. How can we possibly be silent in the face of the world's greatest genocide? We are, literally, destroying ourselves.

Luke; I am confused.

First let me say your comment was beautifully written and heartfelt and I appreciate what you have to say. But I do take particular issue with your comment that there is the possibility that I think in an anti-Catholic Culture of Death

I believe you missed my point. My intent was not to oppose any of the teachings of the Catholic Church.

My objection was that of a visiting priest who implied Our Blessed Mother spoke specifically about the issues of abortion and gays and after which the miracle of the spinning sun appeared.

Those particular words are those we hear so often in the news, usually referred to as "political agenda". Using these specific words seemed to take away the validity and sprituality of the Miracles that are being seen everyday at Slyvan Springs.
I didn't want to see this website a place where one can comment on "voices" heard without some validation. I was also trying to say or ask; is this just for the Catholic believers?

I have been trying to get people to read about or visit Slyvan Springs to hear and see the miracles happening there on a daily basis.

Some I know have left the Catholic Church based on a particular priest or the fact that particularly where I live in Southern California our Diocese is in the midst of paying for the crimes of priests who molested children. So Priestly comments are sometimes subject to scrutiny.

Was there anything else in this comment to give the impression that I am thinking in an anti-Catholic Culture of Death that has ensnared my mind?

Yours in Christ

Dear Anon-

are you challenging the priest on what it is he says he heard? How would you like him to "prove" it?

How does the truth invalidate the fact that the sun was spinning and was witnessed by hundreds that evening?

Please add more clarification...

Need I remind you that Our Lady of America's call was for America's children to lead the world by the "purity" of their lives? In what way does Her stating that abortion must be ended and gay "marriage" be stopped conflict with or invalidate ANY of the wonderful spiritual and physical healings that have transpired by the grace of the Holy Spirit at Sylvan Springs?

Anon who has reservations:

There appears to be no grounds for any of your misgivings about either the post here specifically, or questions about "this being only for Catholics?"

First of all, these apparitions, as all others, are in the realm of "private revelations". Therefore, they are to be discerned by the individual, according to the means given by the Church BECAUSE individual faith is involved. These comments have been open to all such personal experiences, priests included. The inspirations, good fruits, are revealed as personal - just as the followed inspiration of this priest which produced good fruit. Proof for one person would not be such for another within this realm of private revelation and there is nothing that says one must believe. And, if one is following other places or persons of revelations/apparitions/messages other than just these today, one would also find the expressions by the Mother of God that abortion is the most grievous of sin committed today. Mother Theresa is quoted over and over again that there will be war as long as there is abortion. There are also the numerous mentions of "protect marriage"; abide by the natural law upon which moral law is based. All of this rants against those who would substitute sinful acts and promote them as equal to blessed marital acts. These two areas of abortion and the strong evil forces trying to abolish marriage (see California just now) are of such importance to heaven that they are mentioned in various messages today. And the summation here from these messages of OLOA which cover these is that of Purity.

Now then, one could be seen as being a bit disingenuous (if allowance were not given for ignorance of the many comments already given here) when one speaks to the hoped for audience of OLOA. Already we have read of non-Catholics here who are receiving the good fruits of prayer, devotion and love of Christ's mother, the waters, and the witnessed supernatural gifts from heaven seen as heaven's anointing of this special spot. And...one cannot just avoid the fact that this whole movement comes through a Catholic nun in a sanctioned Catholic religious order, involving Catholic bishops who have used those rules and regulations of the Catholic Church for approval. The messages were given the imprimatur meaning that nothing is seen to go against the teachings of the Faith according to the Catholic Church. It is quite obvious for all to see. Nothing is hidden. The Spirit, in fullness, when moving through the Church does so with the complete deposit of Faith. Therefore, all of good will, can benefit from these particular gifts of the Holy Spirit through this place and its purposes because nothing contrary to the Truth will be sanctioned by the Catholic Church.

Research will show that other places/messages have spoken as well to just these two areas of abortion and marriage. One shouldn't be surprised at that. The Church today seems to show the most concern about these two areas as the bases for most of the other evil we see exploding in our world today - such as wars and all other human abuses. Once people can promote the killing of the most innocent, everything else re: human life is up for grabs. If one begins to label such concerns when they are openly and necessarily condemned by the Church and her ministers as "political" then one is being co-opted by certain evil motivations of those who would promote sin as good and neutralize the Sacred, even when done unintentionally.

Anon,

These boards are not the proper place for multi-page expositions of error.

Instead, I bring up just one point:

Have you considered the possibility that the priest is actually telling the truth? If he is not, he is either a liar, a lunatic, or being deceived by the devil.

My friend, I would be glad to continue this discussion with you via e-mail (or with anyone else, for that matter). My address is LukeCBruner *AT* gmail *DOT* com

Just replace the words with the actual symbol (@, and .)

I would be glad to go through all objections point by point, and help you leave your confusion and enter into the light of truth. I believe you would find this fruitful, and after such a discussion you would see just how far from truth your views are. If you are unwilling to continue this discussion via e-mail I pray that God may help you, because reason clearly can not.

With all Christian charity, I remain,

Yours in Christ,
-Luke Bruner

Kris,

Great post! The multi-page thing wasn't aimed at you (we posted at the same time), but rather at myself. I started to write a super long response, but then decided to save it into word and not post it. ;-)

Just wanted to make sure there were no hard feelings over my words.

In Christ,

It was said

"Anyway, once we were given the news that this priest had changed his mind, we noticed the nature of the sun begin to change overhead and it began pulsing and spinning. This is what we saw."

Does the sun not do this miraculous display regularly? It just seemed to be attributed to this day on the priest changing his mind.

The sun does spin regularly, but usually not visible until late in the day because it is far too bright. Apparently, this day the images were seen...this is not your "typical" sun spinning event (as if ANY spinning could be called "typical").

I'm no expert, but from what I've discerned locally, this type of thing has only occurred (here) after some miraculous event or spiritual conversion. Maybe someone closer to the source could describe better.

Are you debating whether the events are connected in any way? I certainly believe they are. Iwas at the Mass this priest celebrated and it was powerful during Adoration and Benediction.
