The Immaculate Heart Messenger

Immaculate Heart Messenger magazine's April-June 2007 issue is out and it features one of the most comprehensive articles on Our Lady of America ever published. It is a beautiful work and should be read by everyone.

We are also providing an easy forwarding link to a 4 minute Powerpoint presentation of the central Our Lady of America apparitions and messages that were delivered to Sr. Neuzil at Rome City in 1956.

Please forward these informational links on to everybody in your address book and post it on your own websites to help promote Our Lady's cause.

Send the Immaculate Heart Messenger article to a friend
Send the Our Lady of America Powerpoint Presentation to a friend

We also ask that you join us in person, or in spirit, every Friday evening with your family and friends to pray:

The Prayer To The Immaculate Conception
The Infant Jesus of Prague Novena (seeking the speedy confirmation of OLOA)
15 or 20 Decade Rosary
Divine Mercy Chaplet

Thank you to all who have signed the BuddyMap. If you have not put your town on the map yet, please do so now. This is very important! It only takes a minute and will help visually illustrate how far-reaching this movement has grown.

I have had the privilege of driving by (Our Lady the Immaculate Virgin) on a couple of occasions. The first time was about 4 years ago, and as I drove by I was some how drawn to it. I had no idea at the time what it was, but I pulled over on the south end of the property into a small rest area. I stood out side my car and just felt something don’t know what, it was just something indescribable.

As I passed by again yesterday I was drawn more into the spell of wonder. This is a truly a magnificent place. It really makes me happy and sad all at once it is beautiful. If anyone has been so lucky as to visit this place they must certainly know what I mean.

I don’t have a dime to spend on what it takes to rebuild this place to its previous glory however, in my heart I have to share what God make me feel when ever I have been near this place.

I have long wanted to own and operate children’s home. I am not sure where it comes from but it has always been in my heart. I have never acted on this calling and I think that is the sadness I feel when I am near (Our Lady the Immaculate Virgin) but the happiness I feel is knowing that some how some day it might be possible.

I have visions with children of different ages, girls and boys living on a farm type setting I would teach them good values and let them experience growth and appreciation for knowing someone care’s for them.

I may never see my dream come true but maybe you can make it happen. There are people that can benefit from other people trying to do the right thing. You truly have a wonderful opportunity to do something spectacular in the eyes of GOD and for the greater good of all.

It was refreshing to see some information being published about Our Lady of America and the article about St. Joseph.

The Messenger presented the information in a beautiful easy to understand format.

We all have to remember that it is not in our time, but in God's time how things will be handled.

Let's keep up the prayer network, it's working! I have been praying along at home with the Friday night Rosary group.

God Bless each of you for your dedication to Our Lady and Her Son!

That is a great article by Fr. Fox and I want to thank you for making it so easy for me to be able to send it to my friends. I would never have been able to figure out how to do it on my own. Many thanks for all you are doing for Our Lady.

I have to agree with the earlier letter as to the feeling of overwhelming peace and closeness one feels whenever they even drive by this magnificent Holy Ground. It just invites you in and gives you a big hug when you arrive. The feeling is indescribable.

Can someone please tell me:

Is the rosary held every Friday? What time does it start?

Are we able to see the place while we are there?

Thank you,

Gina

the rosary is every Friday at 7 pm. the doors usually open between 6 and 6:30 pm and you are able to see the chapels and beautiful guest rooms and dining rooms. it is very inspiring and worth the trip.

My family and I had a wonderful experience visiting Sylvan Springs yesterday. We were not able to stay fro the rosary, but we did have our own private prayer service on Holy Family Hill and it was quite moving for us all.

I feel this is a Holy place and I will be praying that it is able to remain as such for years to come. You can really feel the presence of the Holy spirit all about the grounds (which are very lovely and well maintained).

We had a wonderful visit too. My husband and I were walking back from the hill together and he felt the urge to hold my hand as we walked. We hadn't done that in years so I know he was moved by his being there with me. That in itself is all the miracle I could have ever asked for.

I don't know why we decided to drive into the Springs in the first place. We normally just drive by but last night my husband pulled in and we decided to take a walk. Everything is scenic and peaceful. What a treasure!

My husband and I met with a young priest from a neighboring parish who is helping us decide whether joining the church is right for us.

We have decided to begin going to RCIA meetings which will begin in August. In the meantime, I have been given some reading to do and I will try to get my husband to read it too.

I am "officially" down 56 pounds from the day we first visited Rome City. It is one day at a time, but it is working.

I am very thankful for having come to know of our Lady of America.

To Ames, Ia,

Congratulations on that weight loss. That is so great!! I know how difficult and monumental this has been for you. Keep up the faith and good work.

Good luck in your RCIA meetings.
May you be guided by the Holy Spirit in your quest.

Peace,
T.W.

Oh Ames, how wonderful - not only to be able to visit with the local priest, but to be able to begin your mission in August with RCIA.

You will not be disappointed as Our Lady will guide you through it all, step by little step. Keep up the good work on the weight loss, that is super!

I am so looking forward to my August visit to the Our Lady's place at the Springs. Just to be able to walk the grounds and pray on the hill is very moving for me. I can hardly contain myself when I speak to friends and tell them that I am going to Rome City.

Ames, I am so happy for you as you continue your journey. I am so happy that Our Lady of America is blessing you with the weight loss. I have prayed to her also for the same reason. I came across a book I had but had never been able to go by it before. I have only been doing it for 2 weeks, but I pray to continue with Our Lady and Her Son, Jesus helping me.
I am so, so happy about the RCIA for both of you. The greatest gift of our faith is Jesus in the Holy Eucharist, which we can receive Him every day if we are able to go to Mass. Can we imagine that the same Jesus who died and rose for us is in the consecrated Host and we receive His Precious Blood
which continues to cleanse and sanctify us. All the 7 sacraments are such a gift. Scott Hahn, a former Protestant has some wonderful, deep books about the Mass.
May the Holy Angels surround you and yours, and God bless you each moment of your journey. I know Our Lady and St. Joseph are with you too.

Greetings Friends:

I need to request your prayers on behalf of a woman named Joan (Jo-Ann). She has pancreatic cancer. I ask your prayers that Our Lady of America will intercede on her behalf.

Thank you for your prayers. God Bless you all.

I had the opportunity to stop by Sylvan Springs yesterday and look around a bit. Got some water...very refreshing and tasty.
Then one of the groundskeepers let me in to see the chapels for a few moments. I've never before felt such a sense of peace in my body and mind.

I saw some photos in a display in the small chapel from June 8 that show two images coming from the sun and resting right in front of the chapel doors. This was the day they had the rosary, Mass, Adoration and Confessions on a Friday night rosary. I do not know what they are, but they look exactly like the images that have been shown on this site which depict an image dropping out of the sun. I hope they post them here for people to see. They are more remarkable than anything I have ever seen.

Make the trip and feel this wonderful place for yourself. I understamd there will be a large number of people attending the June 29 rosary. If these other photos were taken after the June 8 Mass and rosary, I can only imagine whay will happen after the June 29 rosary with even more people.

Our Lady is there.

we heard about Our Lady of America on Garry Meier's show last week and the kids and I began downloading pictures and the articles to pass around to some of the other families on the block. Some of them had heard about it on the radio too but they had forgot the website.

a few of us moms decided to load the kids up in the van and take them to Rome City. it is not too far from Shipshewana where we had taken them before, so we hit both places. we ended up with two van loads of moms and kids from the block and we drove down "convoy style" minus the "rubber duck" (sorry if I am showing my age).

we got there and met Larry who showed us the chapels where the apparitions took place and told us all about Our Lady of America. then we went to the hill and took some pictures there and said a rosary together before leaving. we also filled about twenty milk jugs with water from the Good Friday well for people in need back home.

It was a great trip and the kids were so excited to go. the entire place just gave you a feeling of closeness and peacefulness. I can't wait to get our own pictures back.

Thanks to Garry Meier for talking about this great place. We'll be back.

I have been a reader of
The Immaculate Heart Messenger and I have liked it and the magazine is quarterly publication so I do not get bogged down so to speak. It's a fair price and I like supporting Fr. Fox and all he does in spreading the Catholic Faith.
