May 18 Rosary Group Photos
The following photos were taken at the May 18 Friday Night Rosary at Sylvan Springs. Some of the regular group gathered for a photo around the statue of Our Lady of America that has been credited with several miraculous healings in the past year. Although the picture is a little fuzzy, the orbs are definitely in attendance as well.
Later on, the next three photos were taken while watching the sun spinning from the front of the building looking West past the "Our Lady Mother of Mercy Chapel" where the Our Lady of America apparitions took place in 1956.
In the first two photos, pay attention to the blue light above the sun in the sky and notice how it moves in successive shots. This is NOT the planet Venus. Also, notice the rays of the sun as they jet across the sky in a burst while you can see the definitive shape of the cross sitting atop the sun's sphere.
The last photo needs no explanation. The three photos of the sun were taken in the space of about 20 seconds.

Those are some of the most unbelievable photos I have ever seen. You can see the OBVIOUS blue ball in the sky move and you can see other lights (orbs) in the sky as well.
The redddish/orange orbs across the bottom are evident as well as the cross. I am amazed at the burst of the rays as they shoot across the sky and behind the steeple up to the heavens.
Is it Okay for me to have these printed up as a poster for my classroom? I cannot put religious or spiritual things up, but I could get away with this and let the kids think for themselves.
Yes, you are more than welcome to print them as use them but please do not sell them in any way.

Provided my travel is safe tomorrow..I hope to join the Friday rosary group tomorrow evening. (The trip is long...the end results are definitely worth it...coming to pick up my son for the summer..and to make somewhat of a pilgrammage into the arms of Sylvan Springs and Our Lady's mysteries).

It is so frustrating to see such amazing signs yet people will not commit to this wonderful place. Before we know it, this place may be divided up and sold.
I ask everyone's prayers to the Blessed Mother to intercede on behalf of this place.
I was told by Our Lord Jesus to "go to Rome City and wash in the waters" last night. This morning I asked friends of mine from Church if they would drive me to Rome City so I could do as I was instructed. I knew in my heart that I was to wash in the water from the Good Friday well.
I had been following the events of Our Lady of America and had always received great encouragement in Her messages. I had shared my books with my friends and so they were very understanding when I asked them to help me get there today.
We prayed a full rosary together as we drove along the highway. As wecompleted the Divine Mercy chaplet, we were in Kendallville and I could feel my pulse getting quicker with anticipation of being in Our Lady's presence.
When we arrived at Sylvan Springs, we did not see anyone around at first. Then we saw a man working on a tractor by one of the barns and we asked him where we would find the water. He took us down to the well and it was really shooting out of there. I'm surprised we missed it as we drove by the first time but we were so full of excitement as we drove in I guess it was only natural.
He told us how the water had started flowing on Good Friday and how many people were coming to get the water and that it was very refreshing and very safe to drink.
I proceeded to wash in it and drink freely. It was some of the most refreshing water I had ever tasted and I felt a feeling come over me instantly that seemed to free me from any worry or pain I had been carrying with me. Jesus took it all away. We all drank some more and filled some containers to take with us.
Then we wnet in to see the chapel where the apparitions took place and it was almost too much for us to imagine that Our Lady had been there, in my own lifetime, and had given Sr. Neuzil these wonderful messages. I was standing right where She had been and I could hardly contain the emotion. We all began tearing up and prayed Hail Marys and asked for Her intercession in our lives to help us all. It was almost too emotional to describe.
As we were leaving, I suddenly realized that the man who was showing us around and being so kind to us was the owner Larry. He said he understood why we were there and that we were welcome to stay and pray as long as we needed. We talked about everything we felt the whole way home. I hope to return soon with more friends.
The fact that I am even typing this account is evidence that my terrible arthritic hands are working quite well this evening. I asked for my hands to be healed and Jesus was very good to this humble sinner today. Praise God and His Holy Name!

As the song goes "Praise God from Whom all Blessings Flow", you seem to have not only praised Our Lady and Our Lord, but drank and washed in the flowing waters. What a joy it must have been. I was excited to just read your words, and truly felt as if I was there with you.
I too suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis. I joined a Rosary Making group this past Tuesday, and now my hands feel better than in past months, just knowing that I am doing the Blessed Mother's call to arm our world with her special avenue of prayer with the rosary.
Thank you for sharing your good news, I want to jump in the car and drive up right now, but it is quite a distance from Texas, so I will continue to pray to Our Lady for her to intercede for me to Our Savior.
What a magnificent set of photos. Everything about the says "Holy, Holy, Holy!"
I am excited and thankful for the many blessings that are being bestowed upon the people who are visiting. I could never afford to go to Lourdes but I do believe I could find a way to travel to the Midwest sometime this summer (if gas doesn't go to $10 a gallon).
Our Lady is calling me like never before and these photos and personal stories are just making it even more obvious to me that I need to find a way to visit and be closer to Her Son, Jesus.

If you want to get the bishops attention, simply go to the Springs and pray. Go by the thousands and pray. When they see so many people there they will want to attend to their spiritual needs with confession and the Eucharist. Remember, someone posted "Bring me my children". Where do you think Our Lady is calling us to ? Where She said it...at Sylvan Springs. Come my children to the springs!

Someone else also said they felt the battlcry of the Springs should be: "Pound the Hill." I believe they got that from someone else saying that we need people pounding up Holy Family HIl and praying by the thousands like they did at Fatima.
I like that battlecry: Pound the Hill!! That is one way to bring Our Lady Her Children!

I wanted to share my news with everybody here. I had a visit to the doctor this morning and I am happy to say that I am now 33 pounds lighter than at this time last month and there has been a drop in my blood pressure. Not that big a drop but it is still good news. I am still 300 pounds overweight and i will continue to ask for all of your help in returning to a normal weight and health.
I keep the picture of Our Lady of America on the refrigerator and she has helped me keep the door closed. She makes a pretty good guard.
I have learned to pray the rosary although I do not fully understand the mysteries. Is there a good source that someone could direct me to that would help explain to a non-catholic?
I pray for my own needs as well as those of everyone else out there, so please pray for me too. I need to know there are people caring for me too. Thank you all

Go to a Catholic Religious Bookstore and purchase the Scriptual Rosary and meditate on the scriptures verses for every Hail Mary on the Rosary. I was told by a follower of OLOA this is very good for Non-Catholics. It is not price prohibitive.

I have spent most all of this day at Adoration trying to make sense of my last 24 hours and praying for an answer if I should even say anything. Late this afternoon I got my answer while in confession and so I know I need to tell everyone no matter what may happen.
I was part of a small group that visited Sylvan Springs yesterday when I was asked to drive a dear friend of ours to Rome City because she felt Jesus had told her to go and wash in the water there. I have known this woman for many years and very holy and inspired things have always happened to and through her so I did not hesitate when she asked for the ride. I knew she had to do it. She has already told her story here.
It is a beautiful place and the owners are doing a great job keeping it up and trying to preserve the feeling of it for Our Lord's work. When I entered the chapel where the apparitions happened back in 1956 with Sr. M. Neuzil, I was met with a rush of wind across my face and I fell to my knees and rested in the spirit for what seemed like an eternity. This was a new sensation for me but I would have been happy to live that way the rest of my living days if I could.
The Virgin Mary appeared to me looking like Our Lady of America and she said "Thank you for bringing me my children". I was completely in a state of grace and could not say a word to anyone. I know now that I was crying, but at the time I was the most alive I have felt in all my life.
Our Lady is there and I felt her and saw her with my heart. She is waiting for us all and she does not care who you are or what you may have done. She is love and she wants us to know her son personally.
This is what I can say at this time and I know it all happened so quickly. I was not prepared for it. It shook me to my soul but I would be most happy to have that feeling all the time. If this is how heaven feels, I intend to do everything within my power to have that be my permanent feeling some day.
Do yourself a favor and make the trip and feel it for yourself. It was the best surprise I could have gotten.

I Knew others were or would see Our Lady of America after I saw Her. I had my vision of Our Lady on the First Pilgrimage held at the Springs during prayer time in July of Last year. My story is told in the archives of this blog on January 07. You can read it if you click on the January Archives.
When it happened to me, I was in ecstasy and She appeared to me for around 20 minutes. I saw her and She spoke to me also, as she did to you.
Our experiences of seeing Our Lady of America may have happened differently, but I knew, very soon after it happened to me, that She was not only going to appear to just me, but also to others; or perhaps was already appearing to others at the time I had my apparition.
I know some of what you are feeling. I know how it will probably change your life. Just a thought-----you might want to keep yourself anonymous until you speak to a priest about it and let him guide you as my Spiritual Director did me before I told my story with some identity put on it; and also was urged to write two Archbishops about it by the priest I use as my spiritual director. I believed it was important for me to be guided by a priest regarding this. This will have to be your decision.
You will never be able to explain it to anyone completely. But the sharing of it is important. At least from my Spiritual Director's views it was. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
I for one am so humbled for you, and will pray for you to be able to find a place for this wonderful gift it in your life. It was a very special gift from Our Lady, I know you already know that. How much better can it ever get than this!!

Thank you for your empathy with my experience. It definitely is life-altering, albeit for the good. I am very fortunate to have been blessed in such a way as this.
I spent most of the day during Adoration going in and out of meetings with my spiritual director. It was his determination also to remain anonymous but to share the facts of the events on this site as well as notify the bishops who are working with Our Lady of America. I feel very strongly that we need to get them there.
Along with the vision and locution I received, I also had a strong feeeling that this place needs to be populated with a continual presence of prayer from both resident priests or religious and open visitation by the public (and not just catholics).
Thank you again and I encourage all who may read this to grab friends and family and make the trip to Rome City and receive the blessings that are there for you.

I have family in Rome City and I hope to spend some time with them and at this wonderful place this summer. I've always driven past and looked at it from the lake, but it has always been off-limits to me when I was there due to The Way College/Cult having been in there.
My aunt lives on the lake and has told me of the sun spinning and says she has seen it herself and taken photos while walking the grounds. My family is not catholic and we are not that familiar with these things in our church. However, I do believe it is happening here just as it may happen at other special places in this world of ours. I believe in God and that anything is possible if He chooses.
There is a lot of information on this website I never knew about and I am sure many people in Rome City were never aware of. It is sad to see that the little town is drying up. SO many businesses are closing and I even heard the grocery may close its doors too. That would be a shame. It used to be a thriving area. Maybe the wonderful things happening there for people will help to bring some good quality of life back to the area.

I am so happy to hear that you have a spiritual director. I wasn't sure you did in the account of the apparition that you shared. I didn't want to tell you that you needed one, but I know, personally, it is very difficult to know what to do when something like this happens to you.
I also wrote letters of length of my apparition to the two bishops who are very involved in Our Lady's Cause. My Spiritual Director felt this was very necessary along with getting the message out to Her Children. More of this needs to be done by those receiving visions, dreams, locutions, and a healing, physical and/or spiritual. All of these are as important and support the visions that have been seen; particularly the visions by the only true visinary of Our Lady of America, Sister Mildred.
---"Gather Together My Bishops."---a locution that was given to me by Our Lady of America later in time after the apparition. How to do that is something we must all pray about, and many good suggestions have already been made by many contributors on this blog.
Getting My Story out to Her Bishops, my Director felt, was vital. They are now Archbishops, that are very involved in this Cause.
Listening to Our lady, and your personal Spiritual Director, I feel, is especially important! Know that my prayers will be continuous for you as we, along with all these wonderful people on this website who have had their own unique experiences and knowingness of the heart, fight the battle to bring Our Lady Home to Washington D.C. and to also save the Springs!!

You must keep in mind, whenever you encounter apparitions, that the devil can assume the appearance of an angel of light. So don't accept any apparition as authentic until you have tried it. Make sure it confesses that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh and Redeemer of the world.
If that so-called lady of the U.S. ever appears to any of you again toss Holy Water at the apparition to see if it reacts in any negative way. If the apparition tries to avoid the holy water or disappears altogether then you will no that it was an illusion of the devil. Remember that Jesus warned us to TRY THE SPIRITS!

The devil would never tell people to bring the children to Christ (or thank them for doing so) nor would he instruct someone to pray the rosary and give glory and praise to God.
Both of these would be bad for the evil one's business plan. Let's work to boycott the devil and drive him out of business.

Thank you for your advice, but I am sure since these two people who have had the visons, have spiritual directors who have guided them to share and write to the bishops, the spirit was already tested. We don't know how it was tested, but I am sure it was. There are many ways to ask for confirmation of a vision other than Holy Water, which may not be avialable at the time of the apparition.
I have no reason to doubt what these two people have shared with us. I have no reason to doubt the fruits that have been shown at the Springs by many others who have shared. I have no reason to doubt the Bishops who have been told about these visions and other gifts through these people's spirtual directors, and our heavy on the Cause.
It is time to believe, and better to believe and be wrong, than not to believe and be sorry!! Read what the commentator of this blog writes about Pope Urban the VIII.

The pictures can be sent very easily. Just ckick on them and copy them and send them to anyone you wish. You should send them to the "official" site and spirit daily and all of the other outlets who might care about this type of thing.
I would certainly hope that any of the bishops who care have people who are following the events on this site and the others. I wouldn't bother with the local bishop because he doesn't care about anything unless there is money involved or it is hispanic-related.

If they can be sent this easily is it not correct for the people who are publishing them on this site to send to the bishops who are caring about OLOA? Would it not be better for them or the person who took the pictures who can document them to send them to the bishops with a letter regarding all of these happening.
I can almost gaurantee that No bishop has anyone watching this site. They are way too busy, and will only respond when directly contacted, and that does not mean they will respond back to the person writing. It just means they will for sure get the information.

You are naive if you think they don't have people who are checking in on these things if they care about OLOA.
It was somtime last year that the official site took the petition off its main page. they don't want us normal folk contacting the bishops with potential misinformation (so I assume).
To me, I hope the bishops get on board. Even if they don't, I still believe the train will leave on time and I intend to be on it. No other apparition movement was ever lead by the Bishops. It was always lead by the little people who believed.

P.S. Bring your own jugs for the water. There were people there with me today to get water and they didn't bring enough jugs. They went and bought water from the grocery and poured it out so they could ahve the empty container.

What's your beef then? It sounds like you just contradicted your own earlier comment. Sounds like you're a little PO'd about something.
The Bishops don't care about the signs and wonders as much as they do about the spiritual conversions in these matters. Healings are wonderful, but they do not carry as much currency in these debates. Sun spinnings carry even less. However, they do carry great authority with regular Joe's who are lead to greater faith by way of these phenomena (and the healings and the conversions). That's why Jesus performed miracles in the first place...so people would believe and be lead to him so they may hear his word.

Let's leave this as it is. The believers of OLOA have no doubts about what is happening at the Springs. They all believe OLOA is present at the Springs and all the miracles, regarding physical and spiritual healings, weeping walls, the Good Friday Well, the visions, the Photos on Holy Family Hill, the locutions and dreams are all proof enough to all of them.
Sounds to me Anonymous that you just want to argue about anything you can pick out. I believe this person who wrote about those comments you are tearing apart was not trying to confuse or contradict---You are playing Devils Advocate. We have enough of that going on.

This has very little to do with being Catholic. Our Lady is for everyone, and if you don't get it you should probably read more about visions, and how the church must be involved to not allow us NOT to go to the shrine, but to finish what Our lady of America has asked.
Have you read her entire messages to Sister Ephram? Do you have the book on the locutions and apparitions that have been published, by the way, by an archbishop who was Sister Ephram's spirtual director?
Your analysis of the church and the priests has nothing to do with what "US CATHOLICS" believe or don't believe. The Catholic Church, just like your church, if you have one, has guidelines to follow and sometimes it becomes frustrating to us lay people that they are not being followed the way we want. We sometimes feel they are not being obedient to our Cause, but we need to remember without the church being there for these type of things, People like YOU would never even KNOW about Our Lady of America. The church on the whole is trying to be obedient to God not to us, though we would probably like it the other way around.
I am not happy right now either with all of this being so obviously ignored. But I know in Our Lady's time and God's time it will work out.

Look instead at all the good this Cathlic Religion has done for you and all of us. If you read through some of the previous comments from people like Ames, IA, you will see that the Catholic Church had absolutely NOTHING to do with them being called to Rome City as they had no previous knowledge of OLOA or Rome City in general. They just obeyed what they thought they were being told to do.
I am not saying anything about Catholics as "I are One Myself". What my point is is (sorry for the Bill Clintonism...I couldn't resist) this is an ecumenical phenomenon. She said "Bring me my children. Bring me ALL of my children."
I had a discussion with a protestant minister the other day re: OLOA and he said that he thought that Rome City would be better received by non-Catholics if there was not a focus on Mary because non-Catholics do not see the importance of the Blessed Mother in these events. I said, "Neither does She. She only asks that we follow Her Son, Jesus." He dismissed hat point as being frivolous and held that Catholics worship Jesus' mother and not Jesus enough. He said most non-Catholics who go to Lourdes are not going to be near the Virgin Mary but are looking for a cure for something. It's hard to know for sure, but he may be right.
THIS is the real problem I think OLOA has with being recognized by non-Catholics. Getting them to fully understand Mary as an intercessor and not a benefactor of gifts. Any ideas?

That's because catholics are the only ones who care about Mary the way you do. Other religions do not see her the way you do, so it does not pertain to them. They choose to take their petitions directly to Jesus and not use Mary as the intercessor as catholics have done.
I'm only saying this to point this out to you. The world is full of different views and they don't always revolve around a catholic perspective.

I believe most all of these comments from the people have tolerance with all other religions. It appears though that some of the other people of other religions do not have tolerance for the Cathloics. I think, anyway, this is what this one person was trying to get across. No one is bashing other religions on this site, so why are there a few bashing the Catholics who brough this site to ALL?
As a Catholic I am here to tell you, it is not Our Lady we pray to. It is Our Lady we pray with as our intercessor for Her Son. Our Lady does not ask us to adore Her, but She has been asked for thousands of years to be the Handmaid of the Lord and that is to continue always as She speaks as one with Her Son. Protestants and other religions have never understood Our Blessed Mother's part, anymore than they have understood the part the Saints have in prayer for Catholics. They think we are praying TO them Instead of God or Jesus. Yet we are asking ther intercession, like: "When one of more are gathered in his name"---
We Catholics can use the saints as our one or more as we pray to God. We pray with the saints and Our Lady, not TO THEM, instead of God, but with them. It is hard to make it any clearer than that.
If anyone who is or is not Cathlic does not understand this Universal religion, than please do yourselves a favor and get a Baltimore Catechism to read. It is what most of Vatican I Cathloics were brought up with. Understand the religion, to understand the process of the religion and the holyness of it.
I am not saying all religions are not Holy. I believe all have a right to believe and pray as they choose. We don't knock people on this site who choose a different faith, all this person was asking is to please stop knocking the Catholic Religion. Try and be tolerant of the good along with the error of it's way, as you do with your religion.
Please Dear God, let us all know YOU as you choose for us to come to Know you. If it be with the intercession of Your Mother, or one of Your Faithful Saints, or just as a child on our very own; let us know we are not different than others,but the same Child of God. Turn us not away, and let us all together become one in Your Name! Give us all the graces of Your Love and acceptance of one another.
In the name of Our Lady, Jesus, Her son and His Father, Our Father

Why do so many of the people on this blog hide behind the anonymous tag? It makes it difficult to follow viewpoints.
As for me, I do understand both sides of the saints/intercessors logic. I'm just saying not everybody agrees on this and that should be recognized in your evangelization process.
No one on this site including me is evangelizing here. You have got it all wrong Erica!! I am also not hiding behind the anonymous anymnore than anyone else who prefers to not hurt others by their comments. I have put my name down plenty of time, and also have the right to come back as anonymous.

I just said it makes it hard to follow the discussions when so many comment anonymously. You are free to do as you choose...as am I. Apparently, you are not interested in a discussion but only making statements.

This website and ALL of the posted articles have been attempts at Evangelization and bringing people to Our Lord Jesus through an understanding of the messages of Our Lady of America given at this special place in 1956. We will continue to do so. Zealously!!
Please pray the rosary this weekend with a special intention for our armed services personnel and especially for the souls of those who gave their lives so that we could live freely and participate in open discussions and forums such as this.
