Fr. Angelo Mary Geiger F.I. homily
Fr. Angelo Mary Geiger F.I. preaches the homily in the Chapel of Our Lady of the Missions at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. on the morning of the Pro-Life March January 15.
He focused on the need to repent by expounding the message of Our Lady of America, which says if America decides to be a promoter of morality, we will be greatly blessed. A good first step is to set a good example by putting an end to abortion in our own country. During the march the friars and tertiaries handed out thousands of prayer cards and medals of Our Lady of America.

This was another good statement for Our Lady of America. I look forward to the day when She has a homily said for Her in the main Basilica for thousands of people attending Mass.
Hooray for Father Geiger, I certainly pray that more priests will take the initiative and bring the real truths about what Our Lord and His Blessed Mother want to the table, and quit beating around the bushes. Time is getting shorter.
Let's all pray for the people of Florida that have lost their lives and homes during the devastating tornado this week. Another warning?
In Sabinal, Texas, we have a weeping baby Jesus that was witnessed by about 40 congregants and the priest himself. This priest has several healing masses said throughout the year, and numerous people have been healed. This episode of the weeping Jesus has flooded the church with many people that have been away for a long time. The Lord is calling us...are we ready to listen?
God Bless everyone, let's keep the faith and keep praying for Our Lady of America, to turn this country around before it is too late!
I believe we should live in expectation of miracles happening in our lives. I believe that if we all lived this way, then the things Our Lady has asked of us will come to be and our culture, as Fr. Geiger has expressed, will change and we will no longer need to March For Life or for any other reason pertaining to our human dignity and submission to God's plan for us.
Live in expectation of miracles and be thankful.

Jesus states: Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's
clothing, but underneath are ravenous wolves. By their fruits you will know them…..Every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.
Luke 6: 43-44----Jesus continues: A good tree does not bear rotten fruit, nor does a rotten tree bear good fruit. For every tree is known for its fruit. For people do not pick figs from thornbushes, nor do they gather grapes from brambles.
I believe the evidence is clear that there is good fruit here and in the messages of Our Lady of America. Let us continue to plant these good seeds and work to change our culture from one of immorality to one of God's choosing.
This was a very forceful pronouncement by this priest on behalf of Our Lady of America and I especially liked the way he links Her message for us to live chaste lives with the March For Life and other areas of our culture that are suffering moral decay.
We need this now more than ever. I feel time is running short but I do remain hopeful. I will be very excited when I hear this message from my own parish pulpit.

This is very exciting and inspirational. Our country needs this so badly and the timing couldn't be more appropriate for us to amend our hearts and re-commit ourselves be fore it is too late.
I am very interested in this particular location because of all the historical connections with the Church. How fitting that the town's name is Rome City.
I followed the link from Spirit Daily article on images in trees and such. From the comment Michael Brown had with his article, I did not expect to see such a wealth of good information on Our Lady of America. This is very positive. I have been following Our Lady of America for almost 8 years and I never heard all of these facts related to Rome City and the Church history.
I hope the truth becomes more widely known and the "powers that be" get down to business before it is too late to save as many people as we can. I fear for the sanctity of our souls and I pray for the salvation of all.
I saw this site on Spirit Daily this morning and was a bit surprised by his comment re: prayer and fasting before visiting a site like this. Hasn't Michael Brown been reporting on this apparition for some time now? Why the foot-dragging on visiting?
Well, I won't be dragging my feet when I come to visit this summer. I hope to feel all the wonderful feelings that others have expressed so well on this site in their comments. I think it is just great.
This was a very good homily by Fr. Geiger as he put things into perspective of Our Lady of America and her call for us to change our culture and lead the world. I just wonder if we can off-set the effects of our media and the disastrous effects of our ex-president's behavior on our culture. We cannot endorse bad behavior any longer. This crowd mentality has to cease and we must learn to love ourselves as He has loved us. That is when we will see just how offensive we have been to His great love for us.
"When it is evening, you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red. And in the morning, 'There will be a storm today, for the sky is red and threatening.' Do you know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but cannot discern the signs of the times? [Matthew 16:2-4]
I saw this on Spirit Daily today and thought it all to appropriate to what Our Lady of America tried to spell out over 50 years ago. Can we not discern the signs? Do we have the strength to resist our culture and change our lives to God's plan?
I don't feel I need to see an apparition, but I do feel the need to Pray. That is more important than anything. It must extend to our families. Just pray people. We are faced with so many disturbing things in our world...Pope Urban VIII on Private Revelation His Holiness, Pope Urban VIII stated: "In cases which concern private revelations, it is better to believe than not to believe, for, if you believe, and it is proven true, you will be happy that you have believed, because our Holy Mother asked it. If you believe, and it should be proven false, you will receive all blessings as if it had been true, because you believed it to be true."(Pope Urban VIII, 1623-44)
Thank you for sending the retreat information. I will send it along to the rest of my family and we will pick a date. We are sooooo excited. This may be the best family reunion we have had in many years. I think the bunk bed rooms will be just fine for the kids.

This is very interesting. I am seeing parallels with Our Lady of Emmitsburg apparitions. Our lady is trying to reach to us in all ways and we must learn to pay attention to the signs in front of us.

I had never heard of this title of Our Lady of America until this morning when I saw it in a response to an article on the visionary Gianna Sullivan. This is quite extraordinary that it has not had more widespread publicity until now, but I am certain there is a reason. I love the messages from Our Lady. So much more than just "pray" as we get from so many other apparitions. Although prayer is all so important because it leads us to the special gifts and love of Our Father that we so desperately need (especially in this day and age).
I will be praying for Archbishop Burke and all the Bishops who are carrying this message across the country in hopes that this will be confirmed and Our lady's statue will be in the shrine before year end (or at the absolute soonest possible date).
What a good tie-in for OLOA by Fr. Geiger.

Our Lady said, "Gather together my bishops." I don't know how much clearer that can be! It is time for ALL of us to help to find a way to do Her work! She is pleading with us All!
