Divine Providence Directs The Way
The following item is taken from the 50th Jubilee Booklet that was published by The Sisters of The Precious Blood in celebration of their Golden Anniversary as owners of Kneipp Springs Sanitorium in Rome City, IN.
In this first excerpt, the Sisters proclaim that "Divine Providence was planning and preparing" this site for future activities as far back as 1895 (something previously expressed in articles on this site in regard to Archbishop Noll's influence) and that the "magnetic mineral springs" possessed well-known curative properties (something that has also been previously expressed by numerous others in their personal testimonials on this site).
What are we dealing with here? Certainly not a concoction of a group of people who are attempting to use the Our Lady of America apparitions in an attempt to lead faithful people astray. Through the historical testimony of this fine group of devoted Sisters we see the truth. That truth is that Divine Providence has been at work here since 1895 preparing the way for the future work this Holy Ground has been consecrated to carry out.
The Kneipp Springs Sanitorium, as such, is an ethical, non-sectarian institution for the scientific treatment of patients broken in health and suffering from excessive physical or mental activity, and for those who are in need of general medical care, and for the convalescent.
The method of treatment practiced is none other than that popularized by the Right Reverened Monsignor Sebastian Kneipp of Woerishofen, Bavaria. In 1895, two years before the death of the aging Monsignor, Sister Margaret Schlachter was sent to Woerishofen to take treatments and to study the Kneipp System. As might be expected, after her return to the Motherhouse at Maria Stein, Ohio, "kneipping" became the "cure-all-remedy" for all ailments of the Sisters.
It so happened that during Sister Margaret's stay in Europe, Divine Providence was planning and preparing the site of her future sphere of activities. It was during the same year, 1895, that Dr. W.G. Geiermann, who had studied the Kneipp Cure in Woerishofen, purchased eighty acres of Hillside Springs near Rome City, Indiana from Mr. Buker with the intention of building thereon a sanitorium and a Sister's home.
In 1897, he erected what is known as the hollow block building and began practicing hydrotherapy according to the principle and methods discovered and used by Msgr. Kneipp, utilizing the magnetic mineral springs, the curative properties of which were already known.

Dear friends in prayer,
I am requesting everyone to join in a daily group rosary or prayer of personal choice for the safety of our souls, lives, country, and the entire world! Please pray the 5 decade Rosary, or more if you are able; or a prayer of your choice, daily, at your convenience. Continue your prayer until Our Lady's bishops have Gathered Together and have recognized Her as Our Lady of America and fulfilled Her wishes given to Sister Mary Ephram.
May we all be blessed with the faith, love and safety of Our Lady and Her Son, and continue on with the power of this Group Rosary, or personal prayer time, until Her Bishops Gather Themselves Together in the name of Our Lady of America, the Immaculate Virgin!!
Our Lady said the following: "Tell my children to pray very hard; to say the rosary every day over and over to keep them safe until my Bishops listen."
I commented on a previous post and I will follow-up here. I have been praying a daily rosary before Mass and have been able to bring more people in to the "circle" for this devotion. We are a small group, but we are committed.
As soon as I sent my last comment, I felt inspired to enlarge our own effort. Our parish has a grade school and the children come to Mass throughout the week. I plan to contact the pastor about bringing the children in 15 minutes before Mass to pray the rosary with us. I know the teachers are not doing it with them, but maybe this will be a way to help instruct the children and set a good example for them. Pray for me that I am not rejected in my request. Please do the same in your area. Let's get to the children through our own example. Once they realize that this message is about them, they may grasp ahold of it tighter than us old folks have.

You will be in my prayers for success. Our Lady wants this very much, and it is the foundation of how to not only get Our Lady of America recognized, but also the foundation of a life of prayer that children should learn again, and also a way to keep us all safe as the other comments mentioned.

My prayers are with you to succeed in praying the rosary with the children. I feel that the problem with our nation is that our kids move away from home and fail to stay in church or bring their children up in the faith. In the 40's and 50' we grew up with our grandparents, aunts and uncles around for inspiration and followed their lead in praying the rosary, attending Mass faithfully and reading the bible. I pray that more families can start uniting by praying the rosary daily, reading Scripture or some form of prayer to bring our world back to peace and end abortion.

If we can just get people to begin these rosaries in their own parishes, it could go a long way. Maybe all we have to do is tap into a group of "regulars" and ask them if they would care to join you in this effort for Our Lady. Give them a prayer card or tell them what your intention is with OLOA as your special devotion. I'm pretty certain they would be willing to join in.
Maybe we need to be writing to Archbishop Noll's paper, The Sunday Visitor, and get them to carry this message of prayer.

Brothers and Sisters-
Father Malachi Martin stated that in February 1960, while he was secretary to Cardinal Bea (who was one of the close advisors to Pope John XXIII), that he was given the Third Secret of Fatima to read.
Bound by oath not to reveal the Secret, he stated that Our Lady’s words were dry and specific. In response to a quotation that a pope would be under the control of satan, he responded, "Yes, it sounds as if they were reading the text of the Third Secret."
He stated that the release of the Secret would provoke strong reactions.
He stated that if the Secret were made public, the confessionals and churches would be filled with parishioners on their knees.
He also stated that something very relevant to the U.S. is mentioned in the Secret.
He stated that the central element of the Secret is awful, and that it concerns apostasy.
Brothers and Sisters, Our Lady of America was sent to us for good reason. It is now that we need to be decisive in our actions. We need to commit ourselves to the work that needs to be done. Our Lady is reaching out to us in ways that cannot be counted. Some are listening while others are not.
Time is growing short.
During Adoration early this morning, I felt I was being urged by Our Lord to help get this message out. I was given the name of Father Malachi Martin and The Third Secret of Fatima to relay to as many people as I could. This was what I was able to research.
I feel our Bishops are being called and guided by Our Lady, with great urgency, to re-commit this country to the spiritual leadership position it was ordained to hold in this world.
So many souls are at stake, I cannot begin to tell you how much I am feeling this hurts Our Lord.
Please join the other people who have commented, Irene in particular, and make this part of your own effort. With what I feel is coming, there is nothing more important than prayer and reaching out to all of those around you to help them prepare.
Embrace the sacraments!! Eucharist, Adoration, Reconciliation...not necessarily in that order for most of us.
Just to follow-up with everyone, I spoke with our assistant pastor this afternoon and told him what I wanted to do and he thought it was a great idea. He is going to print out prayer cards for the children and we will begin praying the rosary before morning Mass and invite the children to attend. He has a couple of things to work out with the principal, but he thought it would be good instruction for them.
He told me I would have to lead the instruction about Our Lady of America because it is as yet unconfirmed by the Church and he thought it would be better coming from me as a layperson.
I told him I want each of the children to take turns leading the Hail Mary and that way we can keep them involved and attentive. He plans to work out a good system and we will start next Monday. I am so excited. This has been a wonderful day.

Who's next?
I want to commend all of you for your focus on prayer in responding to Our Lady of America's requests. If we expect our Bishops' to act, we must first clear the way through our prayers and sacrifice. I was especially heartened to hear the efforts to teach the children to join in our prayers - so in keeping with the messages! To Irene in Toledo, your pastor should visit the www.ourladyofamerica.com site, I think when he sees Archbishop Leibold, Archbishop Burke and Bishop Ricken, he may feel comfortable in studying Our Lady's messages and teaching the children himself. When teaching about Our Lady of America to the children, please focus on the virtue of purity - this is the central request of Our Lady from which all of the fruits promised will born.
