I had the good fortune to attend a retreat last July in Rome City and I found it to be a very informative and spiritually moving experience.

Will there an opportunity for people to attend who do not wish to stay overnight. I live near Auburn so I could drive.

This is good. I will be coming from Wisconsin with a vanload of cheesehead Marianists.

We'll bring our own curds.

I would recommend a retreat with this group very strongly. I also attended a retreat last July at the last moment. I drove in with a friend and we had a wonderful time. I wanted to stay all night but all the rooms had been booked before we learned of it. We drove to another friend's house that lived nearby and imposed on her good nature for a place to stay the night.

The next morning we encouraged this woman to go to Mass with us and return to the retreat. She complained of miserable pains in her neck but we insisted she go.

After Mass they held Adoration with Confessions. We snuck out to get back to the retreat ahead of the rest so we could show our friend the chapels and the grounds before breakfast.

While we were making our way down to the hill, we stopped and our friend soaked her kerchief in the water flowing from the hillside and wrapped it around her neck. We made it to the hill and prayed for her pains to be taken away and thanked Mary for being there for us in such a wonderful way.

During breakfast, our friend leaned into us and said that her neck pain was all gone and she hadn't had the shooting up her spine she had been feeling for so long. We began to laugh and it caused a little disturbance in the dining room for just a bit.

Afterward, we listened to the owner tell us of his experiences and what had brought him there and it was very emotional for us all. I can't begin to say how touching and truthful he was.

I've checked back with our friend since then and she is happy to report that she has had no recurring neck problems and she too is excited about returning for another prayer weekend at Rome City. This time we want to stay overnight and talk with everyone more. It was really nice.

We have a group of 6-8 people planning to come. Will the retreats be offered on weekends too?

I am very excited about coming. I have been following all of the articles and personal stories. I have a couple of friends who really need to be a part of this because they are drifting away from their faith and I think this will be just what they need to get them back on track.

Why is it I have not heard about any of this until today? A friend sent me this link from another website and said I had to check it out. This is incredible!

I love the messages. They are SO RIGHT ON for what the world is going through and they were delivered back in 1956? This seems almost too good to be true. And all of the history at this place. Just Incredible.

Thank you Blessed Mother for all your love and caring. May we do our best to mirror that love back to Your Divine Son.

I will be contacting some people this week to plan a trip.

I wanted to say thanks for all the informative articles and for the valuable links.

I have ordered the medal and have printed all of the messages from the ourladyofamerica.com website.

Just a suggestion. Would it be possible to pay for the medals and other devotionals with a credit card?

Thank you again.

I think it is time for all of you who have had spiritual experiences of the heart, and converstion, and those who have had physical healings to contact your bishop in your area and let him know what is happening at the springs.

Please consider this by writing a letter to him at the Chancery of the dioceses. You can get the address from anyone of your parish priests.

Know that without the bishops this will not go very far and take much much longer.

God be with you in your quest.
