Miraculous Photo Taken at Location of Apparition
This photo was taken on December 23, 2005 while several men stood praying The Divine Mercy Chaplet in the Our Lady Mother of Mercy Chapel at Sylvan Springs in Rome City, IN.
These men had come on this day to discuss the future use of the property with the owners and to bring the statue of Our Lady of America to the place where Our Lady first appeared to Sr. Neuzil as Our Lady of America. This event was just prior to the delivery of the statue to Bishop David Ricken in Cheyenne, Wyoming for enshrinement in February, 2006.

This is a blessed place touched by Our Lady's Grace.
Our Lady of America---it is time.
Do you know where the large statues are kept after their travels? I'm assuming the newest, painted statue (I believe it was created in Italy - perhaps the others were too) which was presented to the bishops' conference recently is the one destined for the Basilica, no? It must be kept at Fostoria. I know that Audrey Frank, a very knowledgale person in the Marian field, has taken a large statue over the past years to the various World Youth Days, showing it to the Holy Father. And one (perhaps the same one) has been processed into the Basilica during the annual week of prayer and fasting. So there must be 2 or 3 large statues kept by various authorized persons. If someone should find another bishop interested in displaying or enshrining one of these statues I'm assuming one should contact the Fostoria Center. Any other info on these "traveling" statues? Will She be coming back again for a time at Sylvan Springs? These statues might become similar to the traveling blessed tilma images of Guadalupe or the Fatima statues that are kept in homes for weeks at a time. Wouldn't it be great, if this hasn't already happened, for OLOA statue to be processed outside of congressional buildings in Washington - assuming that tight security these days might prevent "Her" from actually entering. I know that President Bush has an image of Our Lady painted by the mostly blind seer, Ferdinand Roccanti - that was another miracle the way that happened. Just some ideas for ways that OLOA can bless the various elected leaders and get Her name out there and begin to bring down graces on America as we continue to pray that bishops act!

I think this shows that there is much more cooperation between the Fostoria and Rome City efforts than has been common knowledge to this point. I was reading an earlier comment that mentioned there was an interest by the "official" group to purchase this wonderful property but that funding was an issue. Isn't that always the case? Maybe someone can help out and it will no longer be an issue.
I think these photos, as well as the earlier photos, definitively illustrate the presence of Our Lady and The Holy Spirit at this site.
I agree with another comment the other day that we need to be working on the National Shrine enshrinement as well as this place. I believe this will be a major destination as well for those wishing to feel closer to Our Lady. I will be praying for the help that is needed.
Just imagine how many souls can be guided and saved right here.
It's easy to understand the desire of many people in this country to believe that the apparitions at Indiana are real. Especially since there has never been an apparition of the Blessed Virgin in this country that has been recognized and fully approved by the church. Also, it is flattering to think that our own country is special to Our Lady. But we must be vigilant and guard against letting our wishes and desires cloud our judgement and discernment. For the devil is always looking for a weakness in people that he can exploit. So, if he detects any susceptibility to flattery he will use it against you.
This seems to be the tactic in the case of the alleged apparitions in Indiana. It is an attempt to flatter many of you into accepting a false apparition by including the name of this country in the title. The request about having the statue in the National Shrine is also a very crafty attempt to entice you with the flattering vision of having the so-called lady of America established in the very Capitol of America. How tempting!...how flattering!...that must be to some. But it is all just an attempt to puff you up with flattery only to deceive you. Do not succumb to it. Be on guard. Be vigilant against the poisonous flattery of the enemy of God and man.
There have been many apparitions here in the United States. So, there is no need to feel deprived if the alleged apparition in Indiana is dismissed by the Church. Our Lady has appeared in many places in our country. Many American apparitions, though unapproved, are almost certainly authentic, such as the one in Conyers, Georgia. In that case, the seer Nancy Fowler, a very simple farm woman, even converted to Catholicism. This conversion is the kind of good fruit that genuine apparitions produce.
Yet, even though there have been many true apparitions of the Blessed Virgin in this country, she has never requested, in any of them, to have a statue of herself installed in the National Shrine, like the so-called lady of America is said to have requested. One would think, good people, that if the addition of that statue was of such paramount importance to Our Lady, as some of you who believe in the alleged apparitions to Sister Neuzil seem to indicate, then why didn't she mention that request to other American seers? If it was of such paramount importance she should at least have mentioned it in her messages to the others. Don't you think? I discern that the reason Our Blessed Mother has never mentioned it to any other seers is because she never made the request. It's easy to discern the truth when we don't allow our judgement to be impaired by flattery. Pray, good people, that God will not allow the flattery of the enemy to lead you astray.

The photo of the men praying the chaplet is very compelling due to the "cloud" hovering over them and the chapel. It made me think of other places where this cloud has occurred and, for some, symbolizes the holy "shekhinah" of the Old Testament:
"The Shekhinah meant God's Divine indwelling or the Presence of the Holy Spirit. In the Old Testament Shekinah is the visible manifestation of the divine presence. One place within the Old Testament it appeared as the cloud that followed the children of Isreal in the desert."
The word Shekhinah in Jewish writings is usually used when speaking of instances where the Divine Presence was accompanied by something that could actually be seen.
1 Kings 8:10 "And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD, 11 So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD."
and then in the New Testament:
"While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him."
"Then, we might have to consider seriously the possibility that "Shekhinah" is dealing with an "overshadowing process" and it should be noted that this 'inhabition" is stated in three essential moments showing the effective Presence of God: in Saint Luke 1:35 [Annunciation], in Saint Matthew 17:5; Saint Mark 9:7; Saint Luke 9:34 [during the Transfiguration when the disciples are overshadowed by this Shekhinah and Divine Presence and in the Acts of the Apostles 5:15 [Saint Peter overshadowing a disabled man]."
"The Holy Spirit, the power of the Most High, has come upon Mary to overshadow her, as the cloud came down upon the tent of meeting in the desert to abide upon it: this is the mystery of the Shekhinah, of the overshadowing of the cloud, symbol of the supreme presence of God among bis people.
The consequence of this mysterious Shekhinah upon the dwelling of God is that [bis very dweUing is filled with the glory of the Lord."
How wonderfully interesting all of this is!

Our beloved Pope and St. Pius X said “We have no choice but to receive Christ from the hands of Mary…. Now thru Mary we obtain the life giving knowledge of Christ…no one is more capable of unitizing men with Christ than the Virgin.”
I believe this is Holy Ground. I believe the Virgin did come to this special place to announce Herself under this title for Her children in America. I believe She did come to give us life-giving knowledge of Christ and a remedy to insure that life.
I believe other seers have been given messages that corroborate Our Lady's request---I just don't think everything is always made public (like National Security matters). This allows for qualified discernment by our Church leaders without the hysteria that could otherwise be created (heard Pat Robertson lately?).
I believe the long gestation period has come to an end. I believe we are at a major turning point in our history. I believe we are being given a definite plan of action and we must wholeheartedly act on this plan or we will perish in great numbers.
I believe what I see in these photos that have been made public for our discernment. I believe the personal testimonials of the various parties who have benefitted from Our Lady's gracious interventions on their behalf to Her Son.
I believe that even greater things will happen once we place Her likeness in the National Basilica as She has requested---not only in Washington, D.C., but also here and many other places about this great nation.
I believe I want to take my entire family to this place and consecrate them all to Our Lady of America. When She is installed in Washington, I will do the same there.
I love the look on the woman's face as she is standing next to the statue of Our Lady. I think that says about all there is to say.
I have only heard of the Audrey Frank statue, this one in this photo that was enshrined at Cheyenne, WY and EWTN, and the new statue that is painted. And the little ones too that they have for sale on the other website.
I am thoroughly impressed with the amount of solid information on this website. The comments are very enlightening.
I have been to Medjugorje and Lourdes several times in the past 20 years but now that I am getting older, this may be a better choice for someone like me. I have been to the shrine in washington but it is hard to get there without taking a taxi. I don't walk as well as I used to.

What has been dismissed? Archbishop Leibold certainly did not dismiss it. Neither has Bishop Garcia, Bishop Ricken, Archbishop Burke and who knows how many others are endorsing the merits of these events? Nobody has voiced a contrary opinion...except for you.
There has been no condemnation by the local Bishop. In fact, he has even said Mass there with his young adult ministry since the property was taken back by a good Catholic family who are trying desperately to obediently fulfill Our Lady's wishes. I know of other viable commercial activities they have foregone in order to preserve this ground for what I believe is coming.
I have been there for different prayer events and I can say I never felt any evil. To the contrary, I felt an overwhelming sense of quiet reverence and calm. Although there was no exposed Eucharist, I truly felt Our Lord's presence. I did not see any clouds in the chapel but I could feel the embrace of the Holy Spirit while I prayed.
How can anyone read through these comments, view the photos, read the articles, and still not come to a conclusion that these apparitions and the mission we have been requested to accomplish are truthful?
I pray for Our Lady of America and the conversion of souls (and minds) to the truth.
I have been holding onto something for a few years now and I feel it is time that I share my story.
I was ashamed of myself for so long that I tried to keep it from everyone but now I know I have to tell about my experience with Sylvan Springs and how my life was spared by a divine intervention.
I was in a troubled marriage and I had given birth to our third child just a few months before I learned of a series of cheating episodes involving my husband and two of my friends in the neighborhood.
I was devastated and depserate. I grabbed a small handgun and drove away. At first I wanted to kill him and then myself. Then I just wanted to kill myself because I thought I was the problem.
I kept driving and went to West lafayette where I met my husband 9 years before. I thought this would be a good place and it would make him remember what he did to me forever.
I sat in a parking lot by the stadium and tried to work up the courage. I asked for forgiveness and suddenly I felt like driving again. I started driving with no particular destination in mind and a few hours later I ended up in the parking lot of this big place across from a beautiful lake in a small town called Rome City.
I sat there for quite a while. I didn't think anybody was around and after some time had passed a man came up and knocked on my window. He gave me a bottle of water and asked if he could help me. I looked at him and was about to say no but for some reason I told him I needed to talk.
He was very kind and listened to me talk about all sorts of things. I never told him what I was up to. He told me why he was there and that he thought this place was a special place and had some important work ahead of it. He talked about how much he missed his wife because of this work and that he hoped it would completed soon so he could be with her again.
We had been walking and we ended up on this big hill with the most beautiful statue on it of Jesus Mary and Joseph. That made me think about my situation and about my kids and husband and I felt I could go back and get things straightened out.
We walked back to my car and I asked the gentleman to get rid of my gun. He was so shocked when I handed it to him I thought he was going to drop. He told me he would handle it.
I had no idea where I was so he gave me directions to the highway and I was able to find my way home.
I was a long way from home. I had driven almost clear across the state.
I'm happy to say I made it home and my husband and I got back into church and our pastor has been a great counselor to us. We have been doing great and I am happy.
I got to thinking about this place and told my pastor. He told me about Our Lady of America and that I must have ended up there. This was the place for sure. I recognize it from the pictures.
I believe it was the Blessed Mother who brought me there that day. I thank God this man was there and that I was saved by the Holy Spirit.
I have been following this blog for a couple of weeks now. I have been amazed and I have laughed and now I have cried for joy at this wonderful outcome through Our Lord's intervention.
I was pretty skeptical of things at first but now I have read the messages several times and I have been all around this blog and over on the other site and read everything.
I think this is exactly how God works. He takes the skeptic in you and breaks you down with how amazing He can be. Then He shows you how funny He can be. Then He shows you just how much He really loves you.
