Claim of Miraculous Healing at First Official Pilgrimage
The first official pilgrimage to the site of the origination of the Our Lady of
After dinner and orientation, a prayer service was held in the main chapel where Our Lady first appeared to Sr. Mildred Ephrem Neuzil as Our Lady of Lourdes on September 25, 1956. This prayer service commenced with The Prayer to The Immaculate Conception penned by Sr. Neuzil at Our Lady’s request which was followed by a 15 decade rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet.
A wonderful presentation was given by Mr. Irvin Kloska on the topic of the Our Lady of
A healing service was then held. It was during this healing service that one of the pilgrims reported he was healed of a long-time affliction with neuropathy in his hands. He gives credit for his cure to the intervention of Our Lady of
Irv,
Thanks for your interest in my physical state regarding the numbness and tingling in my hands and feet. I'll try to summarize my condition and what I feel transpired at our recent " Our Lady of America Pilgrimage" at Sylvan Springs in
First of all, I'm 75 years old; born in Defiance,
Last Friday, July 14th, after praying the Rosary with the Pilgrims in the main Chapel at Sylvan Springs and listening to your talk about the statue of Our Lady of America, that you sculptured, and exposed on the table in front of the chapel, I was inspired to pray for a special healing through her intercession, after you stated that you thought the statue was somehow miraculous but that you didn't know yet just how it was to be so. I didn't participate in your healing prayers, as did many of the Pilgrims there, (I'm not sure why; I guess I wasn't drawn to do that for some unexplainable reason) but during your healing prayers with the Pilgrims, I was thinking about what you said about the potential miraculous healing power of the statue. So when you finished with your healing service, I felt the need to approach the statue, at which time I placed my left hand on the back of her shoulders, rubbing them lightly, and silently praying for healing of my numbness and tingling in the fingers, and returned to the back of the chapel for a short period of meditative prayer. In a couple of minutes, I noticed that the numbness and tingling in the left hand had disappeared and a normal feeling returned. Somewhat startled, I consciously approached the statue again and placed my right hand on her shoulders, as I had done with my left, and returned to the rear of the chapel again. Soon thereafter, the numbness and tingling in my right hand had disappeared as well. That same evening in the lobby of the facility there, is when I mentioned to you what had happened. The next morning before leaving the facility, Ann and I returned to the statue in the chapel, and after approaching the statue, I place both hands on her shoulders and thanked her for her intercessional healing. We then left the chapel and returned home after a very remarkable and prayer filled overnight stay at the Miraculous Site of Sylvan Springs.
This evening, it will be one week since the numbness and tingling of the fingers is gone from my hands. At first, with my "weak faith", I thought the change would be short lived; but with prayer for the continued intercession of our Lady, I'm hopeful that her healing powers will be eternal and that with Faith, I'll be blessed with a healing of my feet as well, if that is to be! I still have the pain in the thumb of the right hand due to an arthritic joint there, that I've had for a couple of years as well, but I treat that as my little purgatory here on earth and endure for the Poor Souls in Purgatory, as my dear deceased Mother told us over and over again in our lifetime with her.
Irv, Ann and I are hopeful and prayerful, that in the near future, sometime soon, that tarnished Tabernacle back of the curtains in the front of the chapel, 'with that open door', will soon again contained Our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament, and adorn that chapel on an altar there once again!
I hope this information has been helpful to you and that I haven't been to detailed in my explanation of "my special healing".
God Bless,
Chris
A few days later, Chris sent a follow-up letter
Irv,
Good morning. Thought you would like to know that my hands are still normal, after that miraculous healing thru the intercession of Our Lady of America at Sylvan Springs. To further update my situation regarding the numbness and tingling in the toes of my feet, yesterday after receiving Communion at the 11:00 Mass at St. Mary's, in my prayers of thanksgiving, I thanked Our Lady for her healing and asked her, if it is to be, could she also heal my feet of the same problem. Shortly thereafter, the feeling of numbness and tingling of the toes in my feet was no more, and they felt normal again, which I haven't experienced for more than 2 years.
Hope you haven't heard about my recent healing from someone else first. Have a good day and may God's Blessing be with you and your family. I continue to pray for Bobby and for healing from his cancer.
Chris

I am simply astounded by all of these magnificent revelations. Our Lady is obviously offering miracles of healing of the spirit and the body.
Thank you so much for sharing the good news of your healing through the intervention of Our Lady under the title of Our Lady of America.
I will definitely be looking for information on the next pilgrimage activity at this very holy place.
I have been a frequent visitor to this very special place since it was sold by The Way in 1999 and was reopened to the general public for the first time in 25 years.
This personal account confirms stories I have been told about healings from this special place for a few years now.
I can assure you this place has all of the things you would expect of a Holy Shrine associated with Our Lady.
Aside from a gorgeous chapel with its artful stained glass windows and absolutely beautiful grounds, there is a beautiful spring-fed waterfall on the property. It is this water that has been attributed to many healings over the years even before any talk of these apparitions surfaced. It is the main reason this facility was started as a healing center over 100 years ago by Msgr. Kneipp's people.
I have always felt Our Lady has chosen this place for very special work and I know the current ownership has suffered tremendous criticism for their beliefs in these apparitions from certain members of the local community. I know they have resisted temptation after temptation in order to preserve this Holy Ground for Our Lady's needs and I wish to thank them publicly for their loving Our Lady in this way.
I try to get to the Friday rosary whenever I can get a ride. It is a very lovely hour of prayer and devotion that has been something I look forward to all week.
Please support Our Lady of America.
I was one of the fortunate pilgrims at this retreat. I feel very blessed to live close to this Holy place.
I could not stay overnight so I just drove in for the Friday evening program and then came back again on Saturday for the Mass and Recollection and Adoration services. The dinner and luncheon were excellent.
I thought it was a well planned retreat and I was quite moved by the experience. Irv Kloska gave a very impassioned talk on Our Lady of America. I wish there was an audio tape of his lecture because I want to hear it again. He gave his talk in the chapel where the apparitions took place with Sr. Nezil and spoke of the direct link between the FW/SB Diocesan Cathedral, Sylvan Springs in Rome City, and the National Shrine to The Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. There was a palpable feeling of Our Lady's presence during the healing service and all throughout the retreat. I can't remeber a time when I felt closer to Jesus.
I will be going back for the next retreats. It was a most blessed weekend and I would recommend it to anyone.
I cannot even begin to say how I feel right now. This is such glorious news. I am so happy for Chris and his healing. God is definitely working through these people.
After reading the messages, I have to agree that this is exactly what America needs to get itself back to God.
Thank you for the website.
I need to bring my husband to this place. Is there train service near to Rome City?
I believe the Holy Spirit is working through all who are involved in promoting Our Lady of America. These have been wonderful blessings and should not be taken lightly by those attempting to discern these events.
Keep telling others of the messages of Our Lady of America and work to educate people in your local parish.
I love you Blessed Mother. Thank you for caring so much for us.
We are reading about this at lunch and we all want to organize a trip to Rome City for our families and members of our parish. I think we are about 9 hours away. We may just rent a bus for this trip. Is this permissable?
Who can we contact for information on lodging?
Thank you Jesus and your Blessed Mother Mary.
Has the Church been notified of these claims? What has the man's doctor said of his "healing"?
This is wonderful news but we must be certain. I personally don't believe the devil can/would heal somebody like this.
KRIS
I am curious to know if the faithful have also brought any of their parish priests or priest friends along with them for the experience. Have the pilgrims written to the local bishop or asked priest friends to speak to him about this location, their experiences, explaining the history of the entire movement for the whole country and then the world? Is anyone keeping good documentation of the types of healings and/or conversions? I know that in the messages our Lady spoke more to inner healings IF her wishes were accomplished. Also, have any of the retreats been accompanied by good orthodox priests, leading prayers, etc.? That would be great! If the Church is to ever recognize this cause in its entirety She has to be included in Her rightful place....because, of course, any special place should not be substituted or held higher than our Holy Mass, and the Eucharist. Our Lady always leads us to her Son, especially, for Catholics, in His Presence in the Holy Eucharist.
By the name, "Official Pilgrimage", do you mean that there was any diocesan endorsement? If so, that's real movement too!
Thanks
Let me address this one for you.
This particular church was the local parish up until the late 1950's when they built a new church on a section of property at the NE corner of the larger property. It is now called St. Gaspar deBuffalo parish and is a Precious Blood Missionary parish.
The retreat I went to was not able to schedule a priest due to schedule conflicts, but we all went to the church next door where Fr. Matt had his morning Mass and heard our confessions and exposed the Eucharist at the request of Mr. Kloska or whoever did the planning. The rest of the retreat was lay lead and was quite special.
I do know Bishop D'Arcy has said Mass there as part of his Youth Ministry programs since 2001 and there have been several other diocesan mini retreats that were lead by priests from within and outside the diocese. For a few years, there was a retired priest who lived there with the owner and said daily Mass and would hear an occassional confession from people who would stop in (I was one). We miss Fr. Hoevel who now lives in a nursing home in Ft. Wayne.
Many other non-Catholic groups have retreats there. Unfortunately, it seems non-Catholics put the facility to far more use than Catholics do. I pray this will all change soon.
I forgot to mention that many retired priests, and some active ones, will stop in for the Friday evening rosary which is always offered for "Our Lady of America and for the success of Sylvan Springs in bringing families to a stronger commitment to Our Lord Jesus Christ". I offer the prayer program every day in my home, so I have it all memorized after 5 years ;>)
Blessings to all.
I always love to hear the stories of those who have been blessed by Our Lord and especially when it is through the intercession of our loving heavenly mother.
I hope to one day share in the wonderful nature of this very special place Our Lady has obviously graced in such fashion. Maybe we have our own Lourdes right here in America? It would not be a bad thing for America. Let us hope if it is to be it does not become as commercialized and ruin the perspective of the pilgrims.
God is good and my wife is already getting the atlas out. This means we will probably be loading up the RV for another road adventure. It's her turn to pick the destination so we will be seeing you all soon. Keep the lights on!
What a great story. I am so happy for your health being returned.
It is obvious to me you are excited about sharing your good news. It is very helpful others like me who are in the midst of our own pursuits of spiritual health.
Thank you for sharing. I believe you and join you in thanking Our Lord for your blessings.
Can anyone attend one of these retreats? Are they for catholic people only?
I am not part of any organized church, but I watch services on tv and I am very intrigued by what I have read on this site and the other one.
KRIS
Thank you Gloria for your information. Could I also ask if the Eucharist is kept at the actual older (original) church on the grounds of this site? What now is the older church used for and is it usually open to the public? Does diocese consider this older church to be active? Where does one find the information for people who wish to form pilgrimages and who may live in other parts of the country - is there a website with this kind of information and who to contact? Did the current owners purchase the entire place and are they a group or is it now in the hands of a Catholic whom another here mentioned was earlier prophesied to take control towards the end of this past century?
Again thank you for any background you can provide for those of us living at some distance from Rome City.
Kris-
My suggestion would be to call Sylvan Springs directly and they could help you better if you wanted retreat info. I know I would gladly attend with a number of others. 260-854-3525
Dear people,
Just because some claims of miracles are made does not mean that a genuine apparition of Our Lady have occurred at the place in Indiana. I recall that there were all kinds of claims of miracles and signs at the place in Bayside, New York, and yet the things taking place there were disapproved by the church. The woman at that place was also making many claims of seeing the Blessed Virgin and of receiving messages. But we now know that Our Lady did not appear to her. So, please be more discerning. Anyone can claim to have experienced miracles and seen signs in the sky, just as happened at Bayside, but that is no reason to assume that the place is holy or that Our Blessed Mother actually appeared there. Our Lord warned us that the devil can work counterfeit miracles and signs to deceive people. So please be careful. The devil is a wily old goat.
Why do you suppose after so many years that place in Indiana has not been approved by the church? How long has it been...50 years? There must be a good reason. In fact, it seems to me that the church has shown little regard for the claimed apparitions of that place. Why do you suppose that is?
If you want to express your love and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, do so in a safe way by placing pictures, or statues, of the known apparitions of the Blessed Virgin such as icons of Our Lady of Lourdes or of Guadalupe or of Fatima. These are true representations of the Blessed Mother of Jesus as she appeared in those holy sites. If you wish to do a pilgrimmage, why not do it to the sacred places that have been blessed by true apparitions of Our Lady, and that have been closely examined and approved by the church? THINK! DISCERN! If you're going to make a pilgrimmage, make it count by going to a genuine appartion site
and not a counterfeit one. Go to a place where you KNOW Our Lady has appeared, and that has been blessed with her special graces.
God bless you all and fill you with His Holy Spirit!
Dear Anonymous,
Your overall knowledge of this cause as well as hundreds if not thousands of others, other than the two or three apparition sites you keep mentioning, appears to be greatly lacking. I don't really know what you mean by the "Church" in this case. Approval by the Church comes through the local bishop. Now, after the first stage of approval here and the death of the bishop who was involved as well as the various assignments of the seer leaves new bishops to be settled as to just whom our Lord will choose for final approval. No need to fear, then, with such a good history and good fruits.
First of all, it is rather unprecedented that any seer/apparition/messages is given even a first stage approval with an imprimatur from a bishop while it is still ongoing!! This one was. Also, usually it is the efforts of the grassroots that get the Church to act through a bishop ... and it is always in God's time, when something is most needed ... and ... will be listened to. Now appears to be that time. So, your desire to twist things and state that the Church has taken no action re: OLOA just isn't true. To the contrary, it acted more quickly than normal in this case. I would be more frightened if the Church had wrapped everything up quickly in this cause. This movement, along with Faustina's Divine Mercy cause and Medjugorje have great universal implications. They each had to face the adversary's force, him knowing that the fruits would be universally so good.
"Why do you suppose after so many years that place in Indiana has not been approved by the church? How long has it been...50 years? There must be a good reason. In fact, it seems to me that the church has shown little regard for the claimed apparitions of that place. Why do you suppose that is?"
You DO know the history of the Divine Mercy messages and cause ... no?
And I would even dare to say that certain present controversies re: Fatima due to various other religions praying to their individual deities on the grounds of Fatima with certain permission would have had you condemning even that spot if it were in the same position of not full approval. And, of course, that would have been a great mistake with many graces missed!
And, of course, a place like Bayside, with an official condemnation, should not even enter the discussion with a cause such as OLOA that already has a first stage approval by the Church. Better find another argument. That one doesn't hold water - esp. not holy water!

Dear Anonymous-
Personally, I don't think you could be more incorrect in your determination. I suggest you go there and pray on this for yourself.
Your facts are marred. These apparitions and these messages were acted upon after careful discernment by a noted prelate in his time. I believe this prelate was actually a contemporary of the Bishop who would later take the name of John Paul II and he was a very careful Marian. This was not given a Nihil Obstat nor an Imprimatur without every bit of due diligence required of the Church.
I suggest, for the spiritual health of those who do believe, that you consider lowering your profile and take into consideration that many people are being brought closer to Jesus through this movement. They have strong beliefs and their faith is growing as a result of this movement. This is definitely not the devil's work and it would be better if you did not work so hard to try to tear down peoples'own faith-based beliefs which are bringing them closer to Our Lord.
If this is too much for you, please concentrate on your own special devotions to Our Lady in the various forms you have so eloquently mentioned so many times in your previous posts. It is fine if you do not believe but please do not work to tear down the work of Our Lady when you have not even taken the time to go and see for yourself.
There once were countless people like you (people who KNEW they were correct) who attacked the little girl Bernadette when she came forward with her experiences. People like you also attacked the three innocent children of Fatima who honestly brought forth their stories of their own experiences. These poor kids suffered tremendously, yet in the end, everyone who spent all that time attacking them ended up believing these accounts and today people like you herald them as some of the greatest moments in our recent Church history. And, you know what? You are correct!
Maybe it is best if you wait a while longer before you judge anything God has placed before us. If it is the devil, as you insist, it will fail of its own merit.
I believe with all my heart!!!
All I can say is:
"If you haven't been there you don't know what you're talking about".
Sometimes people get negative and nasty when they really don't have an answer to a question.
They should pray more and talk less. The truth will come more easily then.
I am excited for the possibility of the United States having its own apparition under Our lady of America and that it happened in such a wonderful place. Our Lady always picks such beautiful places to bring her children.
If something is doing good for people and they are willing to give the credit where it is due, why would others want to call them foolish? It doesn't seem very Christ-like to me. Maybe I'm just looking at things too simply for some folks but I think they just have problems that are deeper than what is showing on the surface.
Where is the "OFFICIAL" Our Lady of America Center in Fostoria, OH? Is it open for visitors? I couldn't find any directory listing to call.
H.G.
The Center from which the dissemination of materials working now with some cooperation of certain bishops and others like Mother Angelica's well known sisters and shrine and the Franciscans who are now backing the cause is the cloister connected to Sister Mildred Neuzil. Sr. Joseph Therese and others who were in
close relationship to Sr. Mildred, caring for her and hearing from her what she desired for the mission of OLOA have their roots here. There are email addresses listed here:
http://www.ourladyofamerica.com/contactus.php
Being that it is a cloister - where Sr. Mildred spent her last years - I don't believe it is itself a place for pilgrimage. Rather, adhering strictly to the desires of OLOA in the messages, the goal of Sister Mildred and thus those who now inherited her cause was and is to make the Basilica/Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. the central place for pilgrimages in America for all. You can read this emphasis in the messages which you can obtain at this website. All else may be in God's overall plan, but the success of gaining more bishops to know about and push for this goal seems to be the obedient message out of the Center in Fostoria through Sister Joseph Therese.
Anonytoo
"All else may be in God's overall plan",
I would have to say that judging from the evidence of the historically documented events in Rome City obviously there is a role in God's overall plan for this site.
"but the success of gaining more bishops to know about and push for this goal seems to be the obedient message out of the Center in Fostoria through Sister Joseph Therese"
I would have to disagree by saying that unless you are absolutely sure of God's plan, both efforts "seem to be" supportive of gaining the Bishops' attention. Say what you want but I just cannot see the Bishops ever doing anything unless there is popular support for it from the members of the Church.
I say concentrate on the messages yet be prepared for what God's plan reveals from whichever perspective you take. As they say, look for good fruit.
AnonytooII
Poular support from the members of the Church? Most members don't even know about this place. In fact, I suspect most of the clergy doesn't know about the alleged apparitions that supposedly occurred in Indiana.
The closer people are to God the less they are fooled by false claims of apparitions and do not waste their time on such things. This is probably the reason that the clergy has taken virtually no notice of the alleged apparitions of the so-called lady of America.
You good people should heed the example of the priests and disregard the claims about the site in Indiana and everything associated with it. Focus your love and devotions on the true and fully approved apparitions of Our Blessed Mother...such as Fatima and La Sallete. This way you will be sure that you are conveying your love to the Mother of God and not misdirecting it to some unworthy counterfeit.
God bless you all and fill you with His graces!
This anonymous poster must be one of those who think that God does not continue to work through us and that He stopped the activities of The Holy Spirit after Fatima. Nothing new here.
Definitely not a believer. But I am!
BTW: my parish priest knows all about it and so do the kids in our classes. Why don't yours?
And another thing to anonytoo. Who is to say that the people who have worked to preserve the site where these beautiful messages originated are not being obedient to what they feel they have been called to do? The door swings both ways. Please do not disrespect their efforts by magnifying your own beyond its focal point.
Anonymous-
I can appreciate the nature of a contemplative order. How many sisters remain in this order? Did I read that there is only one remaining? Can that still be an order under Church doctrine? I don't know. It just seems like there should be more.
I'll pray for them.
Anonytoo
"And another thing to anonytoo. Who is to say that the people who have worked to preserve the site where these beautiful messages originated are not being obedient to what they feel they have been called to do?"
Um, people are unfortunately speaking rather quickly here in some kind of already formed idea about others. Please tell me, Anonymous, just where I said ANYTHING about the people working at this particular place within the history of OLOA not following what they "feel" they have been called to do or showed them any disrespect. I was addressing someone who had questions about the location of Fostoria and gave some history about why they have continued Sr. Mildred's main mission to work with the bishops and OLOA's desire for purity for America ... because that is what our Lady of America asked of her seer with whom they have had the most recent contact and close relationship and who have received the ongoing mission of Sr. Mildred .... you know, the only one who was told just what to do and just what to concentrate on in order to fulfill OLOA's desires. Sister Joseph is aware of other activity elsewhere I'm sure but has to concentrate on the main course of bishops' education and work for their action. I really don't know what is sooo hard to accept in that ... if, people truly wish that Our Lady has her expressed desires (orders) accomplished. This is a big deal.
And to another, the contemplative order of Sr. Mildred and Sr. Joseph and a few others was forced to split off from the Precious Blood sisters when the order became too active. There are still Precious Blood sisters but they were not of the contemplative group. Perhaps they too will grow in a different direction in the future. Who knows!
Hopefully, people would like to know as much as they can about all truth that surrounds this particular location they have also recently learned so much about. I suppose we could just ban anyone who brings in other aspects of the cause so that many who just now have heard of it can learn something more. If there are many who can not travel to experience this lovely place, then we must remember that the country as a whole in its Catholic Faith, under America's Patroness, The Immaculate Conception, is symbolized by Her Basilica of that name and to which She has ordered Her messages to be fulfilled. Perhaps more people could take their pastors or priest friends to this lovely spot here and then educate them on the messages and ask them to work on the bishops for the statue's solemn placement in the Basilica.
"I would have to disagree by saying that unless you are absolutely sure of God's plan, both efforts "seem to be" supportive of gaining the Bishops' attention."
Yet, the facts are, the actions that have educated and drawn particular orthodox bishops to learn the messages and actually present the statue in question to the whole bishops' conference have been purposefully directed by the Fostoria Center. They are working through approved channels - such as Mother Angelica's shrine and enthronements by other bishops. That's all. This has not just been recent. This has gone on for years now. And the only way one can believe in this plan - know it, as you say - is to be certain that it goes through the "proper" Church channels . That only can ADD to this particular spot of beauty connected to the history.
"Please do not disrespect their efforts by magnifying your own beyond its focal point."
Now, that, I do not understand at all. Please forgive me.
I don't think, in reality, there is any of the duplicity that AnonytooII would like to project on others here. May we work together without forgetting the most pressing goal of our dear Mother! As She says so often, time is short for getting her work done!
Anonytoo
Whatever it is you are going on about, I have no idea. I just started here. All I can say is this is a very believeable message and Rome City looks like it has all the elements I would look for in a pilgrimage spot.
I wouldn't travel to Washington, D.C. but once for a pilgrimage (and then I'm sure it would only be like going to a museum) but I could see myself going som place like Rome City every other year or so. That's just the way I see it.
I suppose the last comment shows some of the confusion of the whole history and cause here, and the message!
well, that sure shed some light... anything you'd REALLY like to say?
I think I understand Billy K's comment about the "museum" atmosphere you can find at The National Shrine and why a place like this would be visited by people like him and me more often. Although it is beautiful at the SHrine, it is very hard to let yourself relax completely as you could at a retreat or pilgrimage location.
When I went to D.C., it was a very expensive trip. We had to stay a great distance away from the Capital area to afford anything and then we had to drive around and find parking and walk a long way to the Shrine. I would consider going back but only if the image of Our Lady of America was enshrined. I would probably wait a while before I went.
I was also amazed at how many statues there are of Our Lady under names from all over the globe but not of the USA. Seems like the Bishops have had a major guilt complex or something about recognizing our own great blessing. I think we deserve our own image too.
I was in attendance at this pilgrimage as a "day-camper". I can tell you all with no uncertainty that this was one of the most memorable spiritual experiences of my life. There was such an open feeling that permeated everyone and seemed to be down every corridor you travelled. The food was delicious. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. The grounds were just awesome. The speakers were engaging, informative, and charged with so much emotion that I was brought to tears almost the entire time I was there. I was emotionally spent but full of energy when I went home. It was wonderful. I will go back as often as they will have me. I'd LOVE to live there.
Our Lady of America is a beautiful representation for us all to see and identify with. Her messages were clear and full of call-to-action for our Bishops. She was being critical in her warnings, but haven't we all come to find She was all too correct? It isn't too late. We can and must change our own lives in order to save our country and do God's will.

In case you have not received an answer to your question and are still checking this blog: the Blessed Mother considers all of us her children, not just those who are Catholic. Since Catholic means Universal that pretty much means everyone who wants to get to know and love Our Lady and Her Son more.
She came to Sister Mary Ephram to protect and help our country and the world. No one is singled out in her request. All are accepted and loved by Her.
Please keep in touch with this blog and when a retreat or post of a Friday night Rosary is mentioned, or another Pilgrimage, we welcome you and all you would like to bring with you.
We are all God's children, and Our Lady, as her Son, does not single people out by choice of their religion or even lack of choice of a religion.
You are very, very welcome to join all there, and hope you will feel comfortable coming - just as you are.
God bless,
in the name of Our Lady the Immaculate Virgin!
Dear Mr. Larry Young 1-12-07
Our visit to the E. Chapel at Sylvan Springs was delightful. We were allowed to pray and share there for two hours on the 8th of Jan. We are a group of interdenominational prayer warriors who mobilize on Tues. evenings for two hours and pray at various locations in the county. God has opened many doors for us and our visit to Sylvan Springs was no exception. We are made up of persons from several different churches and we pray for blessing, peace, safety, rightousness and God's Presence where ever we go. We share a vision of carrying the gospel outside the church walls. As I was visiting overnight at a friends house in Rome City, I felt a distinct Presence in my room late at night that said to my heart, "I have brought you here for a reason." While in prayer on Mon. morning I felt inspired to drive through Sylvan Springs to see if we could bring our group there to pray. The rest is history as Mr. Larry Young served as God's servant to open the doors for us. Returning to the grounds was a blessing for me since I grew up in this area and I remember when it was Kneipp Springs. I also was part of a group that prayer walked the building and grounds at the time it was for sale by the Nuns. It is our prayer that the sacred grounds will be used of God to pour out His Spirit on all flesh with sign and wonders following. Be blessed in Jesus Name. Rev. Pamela Lash
